We just got back from a trip to NYC. Saw Wicked, took a horse and carriage around Central Park, ate at Carnegie Deli, saw the Statue of Liberty. So much fun....and now that that trip is over, next trip is WDW and Dream! : - )

I can't believe that we are going to be leaving in 38 days. I am so excited! I really need to get started on my fish extender gifts and a couple other surprises I have in store for our friends cruising with us. Did you all see the post today about the port not opening up until 11 on the day of the cruise? This is terrible since I am the type of person who likes to get there as early as possible so that I can get on the ship 1st thing.

I saw that post- then I went to my online checkin and it still had 10:30-11 selected. And since I already completed my online checkin and printed it out... my form will say 10:30-11am arrival.

We're staying nearby the night before the cruise because I wanted to get there early but also wanted to let the girls sleep relatively late. (compared to how early I try to get them up at the parks...)

Hmmm, why the change? Since I'm doing the land-sea package, I wasn't able to choose a check-in time....I just get there when I get there, I guess. SOOOOOO excited!

Yeah I wish was old enough to go to vibe. Edge doesn't look as nice considering i am going to be alone (sorta)from after the sail away to the night before disembark. (I might be alone for before the sail away)

There are a few around Vegas, but the closest one to the strip is at the Monte Carlo. I think they may be the best cupcakes I have ever had!! Check out their site at www.thecupcakery.com.

Is the friend going with you older, then? The two of you and your mom would of course still be welcome at our meetup on embarkation day - it might give you a chance to make some friends! There are definitely a number of Edge-age kids coming along from this group.

By sorta I mean I will be with my parents some of the time. It's only my father and my mother. My parents are exited to RIDE on the aquaduck. My dad is also on the dis forums his name is Nemo87 after captain nemo. It's also only 36 days and counting.
PS I will also be 12 by the time of the cruise

Got our cruise documents in the mail today...and tomorrow marks one month until we're in FL! WHOOO!

LOL, right before you posted, I found out that my nieces got mail from DCL. I was a little confused as to why they got stuff, as I expected it all to come to me. I hope my docs are at home waiting for me!

Oh and yesterday I did the happy cabana dance! It wasn't for the CC day that I really wanted, so I may change it if the other day opens up.

Did you happen to get Cabana 12 on the first CC day? I just canceled that one! We decided to only do the Cabana one day!

Well, thanks! I'd sorta rather have one the 2nd day since we're parasailing on day 1... but I'm glad to have it! (yes I know I try to could change the parasailing... but I want it on day 1 since if the conditions do not allow that day, I could still try to reschedule)

In other Random Good Luckness over the past couple days... I am adopting a new kitten (one of mine had to be put to sleep a couple weeks ago... *sob*) and I have a ticket for Book of Mormon this wknd!

You are going to LOVE the show! At least I hope so. I can't believe I got such an awesome seat at the last minute. Got to meet up with a friend for sushi afterwards too... and did some shopping... so it was a fun day overall!

Finally got my cruise docs today- yay!
