Best Wishes!!! WOW...you are a Teacher, too? We have a lot of Teachers on our cruise! I have a lot of repect for Teachers-I know I couldn't do it. I am sure you will do fine. Think of it as another adventure.

Both my daughters are teachers too! We just started talking packing lists. With one day before and five after at Wilderness Lodge Villas, it becomes like planning an invasion. With my grandson's diet restrictions, it's even more complicated. Spent a few days last week at WDW for Star Tours and Star Wars Weekend. Dave and Heather loved the new Star Tours.

I'm a teacher too. My last vacation of the summer before we are back to work!! Last year we did the 5 day double dip right at the beginning of the summer which was great, but then I wanted another cruise at the end! Ha ha!!

Anyone doing the cabana on Castaway? We have one booked for both days, but I think we are only going to do one day. Just trying to decide if we should do it the first day or the last day.

I sorta want to do a cabana for the 2nd day (since we're parasailing the first day)- but I keep checking and there aren't any on the family beach. I figure that if it's meant to be, it will be. And if not, I get to save a couple dollars.

I am so excited- I took the nieces ice skating and to lunch at Friendly's this wknd; they are going to love this trip! My grandparents used to spoil me a bit as a child and I love that I can pass that on even though I don't have kids of my own.

We have one booked for both days, we did a cabana in December and loved it!! I don't think we would want to do CC again without it! It was so nice and relaxing.

We live in Wichita. We farm west of Wichita. My hubby is a Kansas native and you can't take a Kansas farmer too far from the farm. He has a "real" job too, to support farming!

jla - am I allowed in the grade change club? Moving from 6th to 3rd with people I've never met in a building I've never set foot in. I student taught third grade, but uh...that was a while ago. All my actual teaching experience has been 5th and 6th. Bring on the Konk Coolers.

I don't teach but my daughter in law and 2 of my best friends do. Changing grades has been a pain for each of them, BUT it has eventually led to some wonderful experiences. And the up side is 3rd graders can tie their own shoes. Our daughter in law loved 3rd and got transferred to kindergarten. There are days when her biggest wish was not having to tie shoes. Now she just finds the kids who can, and they get to help show all the others how to do it. We'll be sure to find you an extra conch cooler to make it better.

You are so right! I also lived on a farm growing up. My parents still actually still live on the farm. I have family that lives in Goddard.

We are on the far northwest corner of Wichita and the farm is 40 miles west of Wichita, so we make many trips through Goddard. I'll wave for you on the next trip through.

I have not booked a cabana b/c I'm not sure if that's what we want....we could do adult beach with our group....

Getting my packing list ready, I am NOT going to pack as much as in the past!!! I WILL NOT GO "OVERBOARD". LOL

Starting my FEs, starting to buy clothes for the trip, made reservations for our dogs, taking our Lab in today for the kennel cough vaccine and planning our attack at WDW is keeping me busy. Not to menton softball games, work-of course, painting my youngest DD's room and helping family out. This summer is going to fly by. My sister is at WDW right now! Lucky dog...now for my dirty dog move...
