Awesome costumes & great looking family! What an experience--how are you ever going to top being in a Disney parade? My DS8 is going to be jealous when he sees the traffic cone costume--he is so into construction stuff right now! Did your DS have a problem navigating around with that on?

He did OK with the costume but DH, DD and I ran interference, LOL. DD and I stood on each side and DH walked behind him. He only lasted until about 9:30 in the costume before he took it off and DH had to carry it, LOL.

I know, we are so blessed to live as close as we are to DLR. We have had the opportunity to do some very cool things (and the parade was definitely a first for us) because we can go so often.

Too funny but today was DS's school parade and when we got there we found out that the staff had all dressed up as constructions workers (what are the odds, LOL). When the parade of kids came by us, DS wasn't with his class. And then a little bit later, here comes DS holding hands with the principal (I guess she was using him as a little accessory, LOL). Then after the parade they did a group photo of all the teachers and they asked DS to be in the picture with them, LOL.

Have you all been watching the float out stuff? OMG, my heart started beating so fast when I was watching the videos on youtube of the Dream being floated out. LOL - I was counting windows trying to figure out where our room is

I already have Good Morning America set on my DVR for Friday (they are supposed to be talking about the Dream - and maybe showing someone using the Aquaduck, at least that is what I heard).

Just got done watching GMA this morning on the Dream! I am so psyched! I wish they would have shown more of the inside but I'm sure they don't want to show anything that isn't finished yet. I can't wait to show my boys the tape--they are going to be awestruck. Come on April.....

Hi All! The excitement is building! I DVRd the Good Morning America taping...it was great to see the Aquaduck in motion...kind of slow motion...it will be interesting to see how fast or slow it really goes. I guess we might be getting a scenic Aquaduck...instead of a thrill ride Aquaduck...anyway...it will be fun!


I saw this site posted on another thread that did not get too much attention, however; it has some great pictures of the inside of the Dream...even some unfinished areas...it is a USA Today site...

We play our last fall season baseball tournament this weekend...thank goodness it is in town! However...it is supposed to be 49 degrees tomorrow at 9AM and then maybe 55 degrees by noon...we are going to be freezing! It has been consistently in the 60's here for the past few weeks...anyhoo...

Today's errands turned into cruise realted shopping! I was at Michael's with their 50% off coupon and got a helium tank so we can fill up the Mickey Mouse balloons for their Xmas surprise box, then ended up finding some pirate shirts at another store for our pirate nights (since my youngest has developed a severe distaste for costumes). Now I just need to get some Mickey shaped balloons and our Xmas surprise box will be all set! this is so much fun!

Looks like there's going to be an opening on Deck 7. DH, 46, just had emergency quadruple bypass a couple of weeks ago. I think the hospital bills, along with lost pay, will be just a bit too much to handle in addition to paying for a Category 4C cabin on the Dream in April. It's making me sick to think about it, especially since I know the relaxation is going to be way overdue for the three of us, but I can't live with this amount of debt. At this point, just getting my deposit back sounds like a lot of money.

I was so proud of myself! I brought my calendar and booked onboard when we took our first cruise in February and we were able to get the 4C cabin for $2532 for the three of us. All of my reservations are made for lodging. Bummer. I hate that after I cancel Disney will sell this cabin for more than they were going to charge me. Wish I could let one of you have it.

Oh Nancy I am so sorry you have to cancel, especially since it sounds like you need a vacation now more than ever!

I hope your Dh recovers and you guys can get a nice vaction in sometime. We will miss you!

Nancy - I'm so sorry to hear that you had to cancel. But this is more important and I'm sure when things are better, you will be able to schedule a new cruise. I hope that your DH is doing better now!
