All are very excited but first we have a trip to Michigan to get through.

The countdown has begun here, only 56 more days. Still have to finish camp. Get through the time between camp and school. Then deal with back to school, (I am the new PTA treasurer, yikes!) and finally to this trip. Oh, and the FE, can't forget that!

I have some new sundresses that I really want to bring, and with only three nights, plus the wedding, I don't know if I want to do pirate or not.

What is the scoop on how formal are Remy and Palos for the 3 night? I do not mind formal/formal -- it is just how much stuff are we hauling.

Note to self - drag out the formal gear and see if it fits - it sure won't after the cruise.

We'd probably get a big debate on the main boards about this, but I think the dress code holds, no matter how long or short the cruise is. That said, I haven't always worn a long dress to Palo...a nicer short dress works fine.

So, I have entered all the required information - which I normally do NOT do until later in the cruise. And snagged an arrival time for 11:00....what is THAT all about. Not happy, not happy, not happy.......restrictions being what they are. I expect we will not know about the new policy until these cruisers get back and report...it went into effect on Aug. 2nd????

As for dressing, I love to dress for dinner and fancy occasions...I guess my question was --- what are folks normally wearing. We can take the TUX if that is standard fare for Remy -- and I can find a short or long gown....I was just not sure...But then our friend Monica just took the cruise with Remy - I can ask her....

Don't think we will be in your area. Flying into Chicago then up to Mt Pleasant, up to West Branch over to Hart (Lake Michigan area) and back to Chicago. Not looking forward to all the driving this will entail.

WELL I just got back from mt pleasent this morning. My brother lives 2 miles from the big eagle. took some horses up for him,
you are in for a drive. western michigan along the coast is very nice !!!

Regarding the FE, I know it is up to each person how many times they are going to exchange, however I have read the most FE groups give a guidline (or get a feel for how they want to). Just maybe a quick giving of your opinons would help! I just want to make sure we all have the same idea so I have enough stuff. Getting excited to participate with ya'll!

Speaking of FE's....I found this store online, and they have some nifty stuff that would be great for the FE's...and not expensive.

My input, for the FE's....we have done a little gift each day/night with a small group, but we usually decide not to do them on the last night, since everyone is packing up their stuff to take home.
On a short cruise, that only leaves the first night, and second day or night. I include "night" because I'm a night owl, and usually deliver mine at night.

If you all decide to do them only once, then the 2nd night would probably be the best choice.
