Disney Dream 8th January 2012

Leaving OKW headed home to snow and closed roads, will see how we fair when we land.
2 Hour drive from Denver to Cheyenne, so we will see how that goes, we have a Jeep so that helps.
.

Don't do it.... Stay there until January. ;)

We are still recovering from the weekend storm. It took a tremendous number of trees down and the trees took out the power lines. About half the people I work with have been without power since Saturday night. The kids have been out of school all week because of the power outages and the buses can't get through with all the road closures. Even Halloween was cancelled/postponed.

Have a good safe trip home.
Jeff.

ohhhh, sorry to hear you had such a bad storm.... Where are you from (I'm not in the US, so I had no idea there was such bad weather recently). Hope you and your family are ok.

We are in Massachusetts (about 25mi outside of Boston). It was only a couple of inches, just very wet and heavy. The problem was all the trees still had their leaves so they trapped the snow.

We are fine, never lost power. I had quite a bit of yard cleanup, but that's all. We were extremely lucky. 2 houses down and the remainder of the street have been without power.
Jeff.

You guys made the bbc with your crazy weather !!! stay safe.........

from disney ...........................

The Disney Dream does not have tables that seat 10. The largest table
size we have in the dining room seats 8 Guests.

So, I was wondering, any more takers for the late dinner?????

WE could request a 2 tables next to each other if we have more takers...

Or we could take pot luck:confused3

Typical that is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On our trans atlantic, we had a big group and we had tables next to each other that was nice enough:goodvibes

Please add me to the Jan 8th thread!

We are:
Me (Heather), my DH Jason and our DD Samantha who is 2.5 yrs old! I think we have early dining rotation. We won a school raffle and the prize was a credit for a Disney cruise.

DH and I did a Disney cruise once a long time ago- I really don't remember the logistics of it all. Been reading up on it here. We are very laid back WDW frequent-ers, there seems to be much more planning required for a cruise!

Can't wait to get on that water slide :)

Home and the pups are happy, just confirmed our Jan flights and we are good to go, cold and snow here, we missed fall and went straight to winter, yes we should have had the pups shipped to FL and just stayed.

Got a new bike to work on today and many other projects.

Either is fine with us

Can someone add us to the FE exchange list? I saw some cute stuff today while I was out shopping and decided to join in :)

Thanks,

Just checked our reservation and we are still in a GTY status, maybe we will get a big upgrade to the Walt or Roy Suite, LOL

Or we might be in the Life Boat suite.

We booked the Contemporary hotel for after the cruise - decided to go all out and splurge this vacation :) Can not wait.

On two weeks of travel for work right now - DC, NYC and then Missouri. Once I get back it will be Thanksgiving week and then the time will just fly before the cruise!!!

Anyone else staying in Disney after the cruise? I wonder how long we can linger on the cruise ship before they kick us off...

We will be at OKW before and then one night at AKL, then off to some place called Aulani.

OHHH, SO JEALOUS you get to see Aulani!

As for us, we are spending 3 nights in NYC before the cruise, and the night before the cruise we are staying at the Hyatt at MCO. After the cruises, we are staying 3 night at AKL. Never been there, I am really looking forward to it!!!

We love AKL! There is so much going on there with the animals and activities, that we sometimes do not even go to the parks.

That sounds awesome! What a life! :)

Not sure where we are staying before.. no DVC avail- booked out because of marathon weekend, so we have to stay on cash somewhere. Right now we have reservations at OKW after the cruise.. but might switch to SSR if some friends are able to join us. We are such last minute planners.. I typically wouldn't book all that till December!

I worked on some FE gifts the other night :woohoo:
