Disney Dream 8th January 2012

Hi again! Just wondering if anyone on our meet thread is a Platinum or Gold CC member? My family is Silver and we really want to reserve a cabana for our daughters 10th birthday. We will be at Castaway on her actual birthday:goodvibes If anyone is able to check on cabana availability I would greatly appreciate it. We will be able to book in Oct. but I was trying to see if there are any left now. I only want to know how many are still available, but I cant check or reserve until 90 days out. This way I will know what my chances may be in reserving next month and I can come up with a plan B. Thanks!

Hi, My name is Shaene (32) and my wife's name is Shante (29) (our last name is Carson). We are in for the FE exchange. We are in Stateroom 10045. We were on the Dream earlier this year and she is a great ship and liked it so much we rebooked for this cruise! If you haven't been on a cruise before, boy did you pick a great ship to be your first! :thumbsup2 If anyone wants to add me on Facebook you can as well! Shaene Carson. We just got off the Disney Wonder Alaskan cruise as well and I have pictures up on Facebook of that cruise as well!
Welcome from us( Lynne and Leonard ) all the way from sunny scotland:rotfl2:

Sorry, this one makes me a gold!!!

Making Palo res tonight. will check on cabana availability.

Lots of cabanas avail, our past experience is they do not sell out that quickly, and we got one a day before CC day.

119 days today..............................................

so, i want to share my patients antics with you last night, it was a bulldog puppy/junior dog, it kept pooing it kennel, it was only in for eye drops, it was really naughty noodle, but SO adorable:love: I kept putting him out and he kept coming in and squeezing one out.

So this am I never had time to cook him chicken after cleaning his kennel for the 40th time, he was well pi**ed at the dry food, so he hummed and hawed and EVENTUALLY ate his dry food.

Anybody want to guess what he done next............................

Took a sh*t in his his food bowl:lmao: His aim was perfect:thumbsup2

I usually avoid the spa because its SO expensive but I think we might have a swedish massage this time post running,:confused3 will see whats available, no rassul on the dream:sad1:

Agree on the $$$$ did get one after the DL 1/2 a couple years back. Ran DL 1/2 took red eye to MCO and got on the Magic that day, was worth it.

Thank you for checking! I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed until I can book Oct. 10th. If you wouldn't mind checking every once in awile I would greatly appreciate it. Say every two weeks or so? Thank you so much!!!

Has anyone else had trouble checking in? I keep getting a server error. Could it be my browser? I tried Chrome and IE. Thanks for any advice/information!

I did not know what the fish extender was so looked that up on other forums and it looks like fun! Are other people doing that as well?

We really hope to book a cabana as well - one on the adult side as we are not traveling with kids. Unfortunately since this is our first Disney cruise we have to wait until later in October - hopefully one will still be available. If any people are interested in sharing one, let me know. Thanks!

Only 4 months left to go....trip planned 8 months ago so it is finally getting close :)

Ok, we have now read thru many many pages of fish extender posts and are very excited about this! We will be making one for our cruise!!

Looks like folks are planning on fish extenders - has someone volunteered to keep a list?

OrlandotheBeagle volunteered to post participants on the first page of this post, so leave your information here and when he gets a chance, he will update the first page. It's still not very accurate - hard to really start putting anything together. Hopefully a little closer to the cruise, people will give more information so the gifts can be personalized.

:rotfl:Don't you just love them. You take them out and walk and walk and then they mess up their kennel

Hey all!! New to these boards. My dh and I are taking this cruise with our dd (4) and our ds (1). Second time on the Dream and can't wait. DH and I are running the half at WDW on the 7th so we're using the cruise as a "relaxing" end to our trip ;). As if anything could be relaxing with our two kiddos! HAHA

Nice to see another baby on the cruise. My daughter's baby is 18 months old and it is our first cruise. We have late seating and plan on putting him in the nursery for dinner - hope that works out well. I can't see him sitting through dinner, especially since his bedtime is usually 7:00 - figure we'll take him to the show and then he'll be ready for bed in the nursery.
My son is also doing the 1/2 marathon on Saturday and is also planning to relax on the cruise after. It's only four months - I remember when we booked back in January it seemed like forever. Time goes quickly. Are you planning on doing the fish extenders?
