Suggested gifts: fun kiddie things like notepads, souvenirs, toys, favors, glow sticks, etc...; no more than $1-$5 in value.

Hi All! My mom has surprised us and just booked the Disney Dream, August 15th sailing for 7 ladies in our family. It will be our first ever 4 generation cruise!
We have sailed on the Dream in the past and absolutely LOVE IT!
I know this is last minute, but we have 3 little girls who would love to be included in the FE Exchange. We have participated in them on other Disney cruises, and it's so much fun

Anyone else still waiting on cabin assignments? We are - I'm hoping with Monday being around day 14 we will get ours then!

If I'm not mistaken, it seems they can be assigned throughout the day so at least we have a "valid" reason for logging in so many times throughout the day - esp on Monday!! 
Cheaper cabins means more money to cruise more often 
They came and sprayed the bathroom but the ants were back the next morning. They decided more fumigation was necessary than what they could do with us staying in the cabin and they moved us into a balcony cabin
It was nice and we enjoyed it but I found that I had to make myself take the time to go out and enjoy the verandah. That is how we came to the final conclusion that we are just fine in a lower level cabin. (Also have thought over the years of the value of packing a little bottle of ants in my carryon 
)

I like to cruise too often to book those higher categories
We always book the lowest cabin we can because we find that we don't really spend much time in it anyway.
Every now and again we will get an upgrade but after 20 plus cruises, we've not had that many of them.
Doesn't really matter to us. I just love being on a cruise ship, I don't really care about the cabin so much.
Funny story....... the one and only time we had a verandah cabin.......
We were on a Royal Caribbean ship, booked in the cheapest cabin possible and it was great, until we found ants in the bathroom
I'm sorry you went through that but I guess that's one way to get upgraded!!
Not to be a "Debbie Downer" but I heard the mention of a more active forecast coming off the coast of Africa but didn't get to see the update on the weather channel. I try not to worry about these things since we can't control weather and know the ships will navigate around them, but let's hope for pixie dust there too!
