Disney Dream! 8/15/2012

How are you getting to the Radisson? And what about from there to the ship? Include cost please. Thanks! I'm still in the planning stages. :scratchin
Radisson has a shuttle service from the airport and to the port. It's $162 total including tax for room and transfers for 2 people. Hope that helps! :) Room only was $92.43.

Sorry for the late update.

Hello all,
I am going on my first cruise and fell a bit behind on all the things I've been reading in the posts.
I will be traveling with:
My daughter 12
My mother and father
My sister
My nephew 14

We have two rooms (deck 9). My daughter and I are interested in the FE, but we are wondering what the average value of the items should be?

We are flying from Rhode Island the morning of the cruise and after the cruise spending 4 days in Disney world (we can't get enough of wdw)

Any advice or suggestions would be welcome.

Little Bill, thanks for considering. I would say anything from pennies to a dollar or so per gift. Dollar tree or homemade gifts come to mind

Hi Little Bill! We'll be flying in from RI as well, but the night before. Glad to have you onboard...and joining our FE group! It will be our first Disney Cruise and FE experience. Looking forward to both! :thumbsup2

Hi Everyone, this is my first Disney cruise. I am cruising with my daughter, son-in-law, and 3 grandkiddies: 6yrs, 5yrs, and 3yrs. We are all so excited. My grandkids have talked about it nonstop since we planned it over a year ago. I don't know anything about the FE, but it sounds like it would be fun for them. Can I still get us all included? We have 2 connecting staterooms. Let me know what I need to do. We are all coming from West Chester, Pa.:cloud9::yay:

Yes, you may be included.

So 3 adults and 3 children? If so, we only need to know your Stateroom(s) and who is in each stateroom so that the appropriate gifts may be left in the fish extenders (assuming you may have two with two different rooms)

Thank you.

Can we get added to the FE group?

In stateroom 9160 will be
DGM Carol
Adult Michelle (sister)
Her son Noah (14)

In stateroom 9660 will be
DGF Bill
Myself, Bill Jr
My daughter Michaela (12)

Sounds like a lot of fun!!!! Can't wait.

Happy Mothers Day fellow cruisers!

Thanks for the update! Looks like we have quite a few on the list. Hoping that it's almost complete. Still have no idea what I will be making/bringing. If there are going to be more than 30, I may be in trouble! LOL

Less than 3 months to go! So much still left to do!!

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? Is the excitement building?! I find the time flying! Won't be much longer now! :woohoo::yay::banana: ~ Karen

I feel the same way- school is winding down here and summer plans are set! My DD's paper chain is so much shorter than it was 180 days ago! I am so excited!

Just to be clear- I have never done a FE, so what day do we put our gifts into the other folks FE pockets? Do we do it each day of the cruise or just 1 time?

It can be done in a couple of different ways.

You can just put it out on any day you want to do it.

Or another way that I've seen it done is that the organizing person divided the participants up and everyone was given a certain day of the cruise to deliver their gifts.

That way there was always something to look forward to on everyday of the cruise.

I kind of liked it when there were assigned days. That way you didnt' have your fish extender overflowing because everyone tried to do it all on the first day. Added to the fun of each day too.

But to do it that way requires some work on the part of the organizer, so it would be up to the person who is organizing to decide if they want to do it that way.

:cool1::banana: I'm ready to go now.

We are planning on booking our shore excursions June 1 (earliest we can as first timers ). We will also be checking in then, what advantages if any are there to checking in early?
