DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

add me to the list of people trying to get Palo brunch onboard. I tried getting it the day we could book it and they were already full, I was so bummed about that and about not getting a cabana on CC. :(

Have a good Friday the 13th!!!

we leave for the Polynesian in 12 days!!!

For all our Princesses that are sailing with us:

more Friday's until we are "The First to Dream it Twice".

Love it Phil!!
I have had such a busy 1st week at work. I just had to log on and see todays count.
Have a great weekend!

Chuck you should start looking now for something super-duper-fabulicious for when that thing says ONE next week :)

Decided I needed some more news/info to digest regarding our cruise, so I called to find out what movies are scheduled to be playing while we are on the ship. Here's what they told me:

Pirates 4-of course, and
Prom
African Cats
Tron
Gnomeo and Juliet
Mars Needs Moms
and one I had never heard of I AM #4, or IAM4, or something like that.

He couldn't/wouldn't/didn't know what was in the Walt Disney Theatre for the other two nights of our cruise. I think the four night has a comedian, so I bet we will get that one evening, not sure about night #5. I had planned on "maybe" skipping Golden Mickey's since we've seen it twice, but he said they've updated/revamped it and it's fabulous, so it is now back on my list!

Have a great Friday! oxoxoxo

Hi all. We haven't spoken up much for awhile but have been trying to keep up with all the excitement. We have a DS 13 (14 in August who could easily pass for 16) How strict are they on keeping out the younger ones from the Vibe? My DS is a gamer also and loves to play basketball.
Garry

They will let your child move up. You have to request it.

There are some good threads in the main forum about the pros and cons of moving kids up and what they allow. Been a topic of conversation since they changed the ages for the Dream.

Cracks me up, because that's our life too! My boys are Connor and Cody, and apparently I like the hard C sound, because our cat is named Kona. I'm always yelling C-K-Codor! I mean Connie, er, Cody, no, you are Connor!

Thanks for the info. and thank you also Mis Diz. I will check it out.

On another note, it looks like we are neighbors and we have a DD10 as well.

I can't believe that I missed that today is Friday the 13th!

Busy day planned for today and it's all about me!! Manicure and Pedicure at 10, shopping at the mall for a while - new tiara is on the list...... maybe lunch with a nice glass of wine......maybe some purse and shoe shopping.... I love days like this and wish I had them more often!!

Sounds like you have a fabulous day planned...:cloud9:Enjoy!
We have a team building event here at work today starting at 2pm...:rolleyes1fun fun fun.......;) Oh well we will get out of work a few hours ,but they are making us stay till 5pm and I leave at 3:30!!! UGH!:headache:

So 2 more Fridays!! Thanks Chuck....

Very exciting...My boss leaves for WDW next Friday for a week..I helped her get hooked up with a DVC person on the rent/trade board and got her in at the BWV. I love staying on the Boardwalk.

This weekend I need too start getting dresses together and pick up some last minute items.

Have a great weekend everyone.:goodvibes

I can't wait! We are almost there! Got the t-shirts from VistaPrint and they are adorable! THANK YOU to those who made the design!!

I found simple pirate costumes for all, (and a cute girly-one for me!) and I got all of the FE gifts made. I was feeling all proud of myself until my husband pointed out that we will need an extra suitcase to transport 54 or so goody bags! Yikes! I hadn't thought of that! Is that what you do? I suppose most of the stuff will be stuff that people can use on the cruise, and we will get extra stuff too, so I guess that it will balance out. Still, it made me laugh because the stuff I made is heavy when you put it all together and I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I'm doing class scrapbooks and a bunch of end of year projects and I'm out of steam on decorating the doors. The stuff to buy on line is expensive! Any ideas on inexpensive door decorations? The doors are magnetic, right?

We are all set at BCV after the cruise and now we need to decide whether wt go to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. We only have enough time for one theme park. It's a Star Wars weekend, and my boys do love Star Wars! Is that a super cool event that we can't miss, or is it simply a ton of extra people at the park? We don't love long lines! Not sure which way to go on this, and I'd love advice from someone who has been there.

Lastly, is there some type of half day parks pass that you have heard about? The day we get off the ship is not going to be a full day and I hate to buy a parks pass for that day.

See you soon!

Awesome! My DD10 will be happy to hear that. It seemed like for a while all the 10 year olds were boys (which she doesn't care about - YET ) :lmao:

Lora,
I was listening too a pod cast earlier this week that was talking about starwars weekends and they said it does not increase the crowds as bad as you may think. The starwars people all stay in that area and then the rest of the park is fine. plus they all start clearing out by early afternoon. he did say if you want autographs then you should be there early for some sort of FP.

I have not heard of a half day pass??? Mayben for Florida residents?

Friday after the cruise we check into AKV and I think we may just swim and relax and ejoy the resort and then Saturday we are headed too Epcot. I imagine we will make it too DTD one day. I might even go too the Poly and watch Wishes on Sunday night....I can not believe this trip is finally here...:dance3:
