I just got the boy's Journals from Blurb in the mail Thank you so much Virginia for leading me to Blurb. They are fantastic. I am so pleased with how they turned out that next time I will make it a little more personalized for each boy. This was easier and more stress free than trying to print and figure out a way to bind it.

I can't wait! We are almost there! Got the t-shirts from VistaPrint and they are adorable! THANK YOU to those who made the design!!

I found simple pirate costumes for all, (and a cute girly-one for me!) and I got all of the FE gifts made. I was feeling all proud of myself until my husband pointed out that we will need an extra suitcase to transport 54 or so goody bags! Yikes! I hadn't thought of that! Is that what you do? I suppose most of the stuff will be stuff that people can use on the cruise, and we will get extra stuff too, so I guess that it will balance out. Still, it made me laugh because the stuff I made is heavy when you put it all together and I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I'm doing class scrapbooks and a bunch of end of year projects and I'm out of steam on decorating the doors. The stuff to buy on line is expensive! Any ideas on inexpensive door decorations? The doors are magnetic, right?

We are all set at BCV after the cruise and now we need to decide whether wt go to Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. We only have enough time for one theme park. It's a Star Wars weekend, and my boys do love Star Wars! Is that a super cool event that we can't miss, or is it simply a ton of extra people at the park? We don't love long lines! Not sure which way to go on this, and I'd love advice from someone who has been there.

Lastly, is there some type of half day parks pass that you have heard about? The day we get off the ship is not going to be a full day and I hate to buy a parks pass for that day.

Hey Lora--I discovered a pretty inexpensive way to do door decor--AC Moore had scrapbook stickers (Jolee's and some cool Disney ones) for 40% off. I have a ton of cardstock so I'm going to cut it down a bit and decorate w/the stickers then stick a magnet strip on the back. I did print some stuff but am now trying to cut down on ink usage to get thru end of school year projects! Hope this helps

When we get this close all I want to do is spend my entire day (yes even at work, shameful, I know) on the Disboards. This is not good because I have some major things to accomplish at work before I can go away. Work is getting in the way of my trip planning, but without it I wouldn't be able to go on this fabulous cruise followed by 9 days at WDW. May I have a show of hands of any one else who has the same problem?

We are going to Palo for brunch, High Tea and dinner. Just curious.

Kayla wanted to have her birthday dinner at Palo. How can I say no to our Disney Princess?

Ok, really, I am getting back to work, really.

We have reservations for Palo brunch and dinner. We also have a res for Remy, but I am thinking about cancelling that one.

I'm doing the I bought me a new tiara for the cruise dance!!!
Seriously- went to the mall and hit Icings by Clair. Got one that I liked and I know my daughter will love (let's face it - fun for cruise, but if a needle wheeling, tiara wearing nurse came at you- what would YOU do??). I also scored a fantastic pair of sandals!!! All in all a GREAT day!!!!

Now... I have to get my *** moving on putting my FE's together and getting my door decorations DONE!!

The crowds for Star Wars weekends are a little bit larger than normal for this time of year. The weekend after the cruise is week 3 of Star Wars weekends. Star Tours reopens after the rehab on the first weekend. The Star Wars fans can geek out. We have a great time at other Stars Wars weekends. They have a parade with the special guest for that weekend. There are many Disney characters dressed up in Star wars costumes, besides folks like Darth Vadar and such. It is a bit crowded but allot of fun.

LOL, yes, a lifetime ago.... technically been out of the business for a decade but still work with caterers and menu development.
