DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

Woohoo! We're staying at BLT for a week after the cruise! This is our all out trip, because I'm afraid we might move and not be able to go to WDW as often, so we're doing Radisson, Dream, BLT for a week, CSR for 2 days (just couldn't leave WDW on a Friday, plus it was a great Passholder rate).

Virginia we'll be staying next door at the Wilderness Lodge after the cruise!I may have to invite myself over to check out the BLT

Virginia, I love the bracelets, I did a t-shirt but only did a small graphic on the left front.
I have my magnets done but I am not sure how many friends will see my door as it is right in the very front of deck 7 and no other cabins next to mine. Oh well, I still plan to decorate

Yes, still decorate your door, we;ll all see it when dropping off a FE gift! We're at the front of the ship on deck 6 and I don't think anyone is near us too! Just think it will make it easier to find your cabin after our chapagne tasting!

Also, does anyone know what page Virigina posted the grafic for the t-shirt? I was trying to copy the one on the roll call list but can't make it bigger. I've looked thru several pages back and forth but still can't find it. thanks!

It is recommended for the iron-on to use the transfers for dark material. (The ones for white material, you have to reverse the image before you print it.)

I found that the name tags worked best on photo paper. Card stock tended to look smudgy and not as vibrant.

Went back to my earlier post where I pulled up the links for the original postings of the Name Tags and Iron-ons. I used these and was able to resize. Hope this helps those who are having problems with the Photobucket link. I just used my photo program fonts to add names to the tags. I already had them printed before mommyarewegoingback made up the ones on photobucket, so mine will be slightly different. I also made one for DH that says "Disneyholic's DH Jim" Mine says "Disneyholic Bev".

On the roll call list, if you click on the link to the FE info, you can get to Virginia's Photobucket page. The graphic for the t-shirts is there, too, and you can click on it there to print it full size. You also have to make sure your printer is set to print it full size.

I've been thinking about the door decorating too. Made magnets as usual and realized that the inside cabins on the Dream do not face the doors of the outside cabins. There is a totally separate inside hallway so the only folks who will see our door are the folks who are staying in cabins on that hallway! And the FE fairies, of course. What the heck, maybe we can offer tours?!!

I pack the ziploc bags too. They are great for keeping the chocolate chip cookies fresh when I hoard them in my cabin...

I am sooooo impressed with the bracelets! I kept seeing posts about picking them up but I was thinking maybe paper bracelets or something . I am going to attempt the iron on for the shirts (this will be my first ever attempt at iron ons and I don't iron, so...we'll see). I really like the idea of adding DH's name to my disboard name...great idea!!

I am very tempted to order a basket from Shirley but my kids are very picky. Someone had a great idea to pack a small suitcase with just fish extender gifts so you will have an extra suitcase to bring back all the things you buy I am going to try and find sand buckets/toys and make a couple for my DD's and put them together. I am going to pre cut the cellophane and ribbon. I think I can do it all for less than $15 since I already have the ribbon, vinyl letters for the bucket, and cellophane. When they go to the kid's club that night (and I know they will!! haha) OR if I get in the room first while they are still at the pool with DH, I am going to put them together and they will be waiting in the room when they arrive. Sounds like a good plan... I'll know for future cruises if it is worth it or not.

I am finished with under 10 group and nearly finished adult fish extenders. I am having trouble with 10 and up too... but I have a plan B in mind in case I can't think of plan A

I am looking forward to meeting everyone! This is the first Disboard cruise for us (3rd Disney Cruise) and I can already tell I am going to enjoy it so much more since I feel like I already know alot of people.

I've been trying to think of something funny to say so i can use this little guy on my post he is my favorite. that is me everytime I'm watching "Modern Family". Anyone else watch that? Anyone else spend the hour following talking /thinking in Gloria's accent?

disneyholic is that a Springer Spaniel in your picture there? The girls and I have been begging DH for a dog FOR-EV-ER, and i think we've nearly wore him down...he always had springers so if we finally win, that's probably what we'll get. (He loves dogs, just doesn't want the responsibility/expense, etc. Whatever I say! All little kids need a fuzzy pet!).

I'm slowly working on door decorations. Never done them before, so mine will likely be minimal and random. I need to get the dowel for my FE too and finish that up.

Have a GREAT DAY my disfriends!! Tomorrow is chuck's countdown day, and then it is a great weekend celebrating ME. (Mother's Day and then MY BDAY is monday. A Major National Holiday around here lol).

Anyone who is interested in the Fish Extender Exchange but like me was late to the party and missed the cutoff, let me know. I will start a second group (FE2) if there is interest. I ordered a custom fish extender from Tiffany on ebay (gradysmommy) and know my kids would have fun with the exchange.

We're at Radisson too. We arrive on Friday. Plan on going to Kennedy Space Center on Sat. We should have a mini meet too! Probably by the pool in the evening?

We are arriving Thurs, and also plan on the Space Center (hadn't picked which day...I figure I will let the weather help determine whether we go Friday or Saturday) . Pool on Saturday night sounds like a plan!

Just had Mother daughter breakfast at school with Josie and my Mom..It was very nice..Now I am sitting in Panera Bread co parking lot playing on my lap top. Guess I better get too work...

Happy Cinco de Mayo..... Hubby and I have date night on Thursdays so this works out perfect..Heading too our favorite Mexican place tonight with friends for 99 cent margaritas...Gotta love that!

OMG it is so sad that the only time I have to post on our thread is either in the middle of the night while I am at work or moments like now when I am at a nursing conference! Between tonight and next Wed I have ONE night off!!! The 11pm to 7am shift is killing me! Thank heaven next Tues is my last "night" then it is back to being among the living in daylight!

My DS's communion is the 15th - on the day before I'd DD's last dance competition AND DH is working a 12 hour shift. I am in total "oh sh*t how am I going to get all of this done?" mode - trying to keep in mind that after a month of medical leave I just went back to life / work last week!! So much for easing back in and not over-doing!!!! You will all find me at the bar as soon as I board!!!!

Got the stiff to finish my door decorations and finish up FE stuff. Still need to organize everything including my packing list and figuring out what I need to pick up (like after-sun lotion)......
I figure I am going to be in full blown cruise mode the day after communion. I just have no available time or brain cells until then!!!!
