DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

I have the original but there is a link on Virginia's (mommyarewe goingback)
signature that get you to her photobucket and she had made the nametags which are great! :cool1:
Can someone else give better instructions?:confused3

Angie...I checked on Virginia's photobucket, and found high res ones, but only with names on them. I was looking for a blank one so I could make one for myself, my wife and boys for their T-Shirts and lanyards.

We're also staying at BLT the night before the cruise. We'll spend the afternoon swimming at the pool, dinner at Ohana (Poly), watch the fireworks from our balcony or up top, then have breakfast Sunday morning at Chef Mickey's before driving to the port. Keep an eye out for us.

That sounds great! I have 2 DD's and both are 1 year younger than yours :) 10 and 7! I peeked at the roll call for ages :cutie:. We plan to hit the water parks on Friday and Saturday and try to make the meet and greet on Saturday in Dowtown Disney. However, if the water park is slammed on Friday then we will see you at the pool on Saturday:banana:. I have not made any dining reservations and I need to get on the ball or else we are not going to eat much!! I will definitely look for you. We will likely be at the top of the world to see the fireworks.

I never tried the shirt iron on transfer..wow, that was easy
and looks great! I tried it on an old T-shirt to test.
(The colors in the pic are off...blame it on phone pics in crappy light...the shirt is a burnt orange and the transfer has the colors they are supposed to)

If you don't mind me asking, what brand of iron on transfer did you use? Also, did you change any settings on your printer to make it look so vibrant? I am so nrevous about doing mine since I have never tried it either...yours looks great!!:thumbsup2

Here are our shirts so far...

Did you print your cruise logo on the front or the back of the shirt? I have seen others printing it mostly on the back and I had planned on putting ours on the front. I think it looks great on either side but I did not want to be the only ones with it on the front. I guess I could put the nametag on the front, huh?
As you can tell, I am NOT good at making decisions, lol! :lmao:

Had a Sunbeam Classic Iron (circa 2004...at least that is the date on the instructions) Have an older Canon photo printer (IP6700D) from around 2005. Set the paper to be photo paper on my computer and printed. Bought the Avery "Dark Fabric Transfers" (3279). Office Max had them for buy one, get one 50% off. You peel off the back, place where you want, put the included wax paper type paper over it and iron for 2 minutes. Let cool 2-3 minutes, then peel off the wax paper...voila!

YES..I know the graphic isn't straight!! This was a several year old shirt that I used to test and I didn't really line up correctly....BUT...I do like the color combination...may go find the same color shirt for the whole family!!

I am planning on printing the big logo on the back, with the DIS tag on the front with each of our names. Will get pocket Tees, so that there is a pocket on the front with the name on the other side. Different colors...Not white....all this still in design phase...will decide and roll out the final family layout this weekend!! :yay:

We have 23 more days and can't wait. If you break it down further we have 560 hours or 33600 minutes..... I guess you can tell I need this vacation really bad :lmao:

For those who don't check in too often, remember to check out the roll call for all the planned Meet n Greets.

Looks great! Are you looking for the green name tags or the lanyard badges? The lanyard badges are there. I will add the green name tags too.

I did them on the front, only because I did it via vistaprint. I do admit I was lazy. I would have liked it on the back with our name tag on the front which I did last time.

Thanks, Virginia! The large graphic is on the back and I will be editing the blank name tag with our names, print out and iron them on the front.

My countdown is really looking crazy. It's crazy how fast these last few days are going by. I am getting so excited.

8 days until we get to cheer our ds on at our state track meet
14 until his 8th grade graduation party
17 until 8th grade trip to Six Flags
18 until 8th grade graduation
19 until we board the plane
&&&&&&&&
20 until we start our cruise on the DREAM

I was having serious issues with your math for awhile there.... until I figured out you're the goober, er... lucky one, that is doing the B2B.

Hi all! Happy Nurses Day to all of our nurses in the group.

We are staying at the Country Inn Suites near the port the night before. Any one else?

We are dressing for pirate night - we do community theater - of course we are dressing in costumes. DH and DD will be all decked out. DM and I will be the simple white shirt, black pants and a red scarf!!

We are also dressing up (DH in tux, the rest in gowns) for semi-formal night and Palo night. DD LOVES to go all out and we like to have nice family pictures too!

We are not getting off at Nassau. We want to explore the ship. Plus I really want to get DM on the slide. I told her she'd have the honor of being the oldest to try the aquaduck at 85.

FE items being ordered. Working on tee-shirts and door magnets. I have major deadlines at work before we leave, so I hope every thing gets done!!
