Hey! My DF and I are 25. It is nice to see people in their 20s going. What night are you going to Palo's?! I also read that you are from NJ, I was born and raised there. =)

We are going on June 2 - last night. It's my DD 23rd birthday!!

Where in NJ are you from?

Sounds like a good idea to me. Anything over 50 cabins is going to cramp my style on what I have planned. Plus, I need time to get them ready well before because my "last minute" is always craziness.

got an email from my TA - Disney shipped my doc yesterday (Wed) so a couple of days to get to her then a couple of days to get to me lo

Sorry to hear you lost your job. It's memorial day weekend so you may not find the really cheap rates. But since you are driving you really don't need to stay so close to the port. I would recommend going to hotels dot com or priceline, stay somewhere inland away from touristy areas. You can usually find something pretty decent, but you may just have to get up earlier to get to the port.

Just saw the post...I feel your pain. My hubby has been laid off since the day after Christmas and all this rain is not helping. I ran into the same problem. Since my friend cxl on me the Radisson was just too pricey at Cape C. So I booked a room at the Clarion Lake Buena vista for $59. It is really nice and only 1 mile from DTD. Got great recomdations from the Dis boards and Trip advisor. Check it out.

Just curious if anyone else is flying out of Toronto, Ontario on our cruise?

Spoke to DCL today and they said our flight times are cutting it close but not to worry. I'm worried. HAHA. Asked about our cruise docs and they were mailed 4 days ago to our TA. Means we'll be getting them in a week or so.

What are your preferences when it comes to clothes and fashion? keep it until it does not fit and then a little bit longer just in case I loose enough to get back in it I prefer the Black House White Market, Ann Taylor LOFT, or decorated jeans look when I'm not in my PJ's or scrubs (but I'm mostly in PJ's or scrubs)

Sounds like a plan to me. I'm trying to get my gifts together and have a feeling May is going to fly by for me! Just my 2 cents.

Hi Maylene Family! We are also from Alabama. Birmingham, actually. We survived the tornadoes, but know some people who are still looking for family members and some who lost homes, cars, etc. Our hearts ache for all of those who were devastated by the storms!! We are so excited about our first Disney cruise! We have 5 children, DD 8, 6, and 5 and twin boys who are turning 4 on June 1. I was an OR nurse before children, but am a stay-at-home supermom right now. I worked at UAB a long time ago-wouldn't that be funny if we already know each other! Last week I met a family who goes to our church who will also be on our cruise so, there will at least be three Alabama families on board. Looking forward to meeting you! War Eagle to your DH and kids!!!

Whoa, wait a minute, here! I thought you were supposed to be taking it easy! We want you back to 100% for this cruise, Denise!! Get some rest and maybe you should consider supporting your nursing staff from behind your desk?

Whew...spent some time in my basement today! The tornados in Alabama were NO JOKE. Thank God (literally) that He put a wall of protection around us because 2 of them came within a mile of my home. We had no damage but my goodness there is total destruction in some nearby areas We have been doing alot of praying for the families affected This cruise could not fast enough for us...

Oh April, that is just too, too close for comfort!! Sounds like the angels were definitely watching over you!! The newscasts keep showing the magnitude of devastation these storms have caused. My heart just breaks for all the folks who have lost so much. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Oh yeah, and todays mail brought our cruise docs!!!! Happy dancing here!!!
