This is SO sad to say but I don't know which I was more excited about today when I got home from work (at 7am) - our Friday countdown or the Royal Wedding!! :rotfl2: (I am a PURE sucker for romance, especially when someone becomes a princess - just like a Disney Movie!!!). Seriously - they had it on in the "Command Center" on the screen that made the people almost lifesize! It was like being there- and to me Prince William looked like he was dressed right out of Disney's Cinderella!
I was explaining to DD (who's 5 1/2) that the bride was now a real princess- I was seriously waiting for her to ask me if she'd now be on our Disney cruise with all the other princesses!

I had heard they were assigning show times. Did they get away from that? Just confused :confused3

Right now we are all assigned to a specific show time each day. We have the 7:00 show. Your time should appear under details in your reservation on the DCL website.

SOOO very happy today. Talked to our TA (our cruise docs are in) but besides that, we were able to change our flight into Orlando to arrive Saturday evening instead of 1pm on Sunday!! YAY! And it was cheap.

I was so worried that we'd be delayed a short time & miss the cruise after spending all that money. Air Canada vacations guaranteed us we'd make it in time but I am not that trusting. This way I can sit back relax and enjoy, no more stress!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Kelly

That is AWESOME! Now you don't have to worry about it. :)

OK - Thanks. I will log on and check it out. I know we were supposed to have 7 pm show and late dining according to our TA, but think I will double-check to be sure.

Great!

Hubby and I definitely think it's worth getting in the day before. Air travel can still be so uncertain- last Nov I had a 6:30 am flight from GSO to AZ - I get a call at 5:15am that it was cancelled and how did I want to proceed?:headache:

AS it was my grand-niece's 1st birthday, I wanted to get there- so Delta gets me another flight set on a different airline. Go to that airline and the front counter person goes - umm sorry but I have to bump you on all these flights (3!) I don't know how she got you on them but they are all oversold....

I eventually got to AZ at 11:30pm instead of the 1:15pm I was supposed too- and swearing if teleportation is ever developed I'll be the first guinea pig~

...Then I had trouble flying back on Delta, cause the 1st half of the ticket wasn't used/ possible got cancelled :darth:

Soo we tend to leave lots of room... just in case, cause stuff like that always happens....

I am so excited too hear everyone is getting their documents...:cool1:

Maybe mine will be there when I get home!!!! This has been a rough week at work.

Hope everyone has a great weekend....:goodvibes

I haven't forgotten about setting up a M&G at Downtown Disney on Saturday. Figured we could set something up about a week out.

pixiedust: Hoping your docs came in.

I'm not 100% sure we'll make the M&G on Saturday, but my vote is for 530ish. Little kids and all ;)

My day:

Woke up not to my alarm but to my girls fighting over what to watch on TV.

Went to the park to play with friends, which was great, except that it was about 50mph winds!

Did a cake this afternoon. Simple communion cake, white with some black writing and a white cross on it..... noticed about 30 minutes ago that instead of writing "First holy communion" I wrote "Holy First Communion!":mad:

Just tried to fix it. I think I might have gotten by without having to start all over! :rolleyes1

girls almost in bed.:woohoo:

I have a migraine.

I'm so ready for the cruise! :)

:cheer2::cheer2: YAY for only 4 more Fridays!!!!! Love the Fireman Mickey, Chuck--great choice!!

Kelly, I'm so glad you were able to get your flight changed. I'd have been chewing my fingernails up to my elbows with anxiety over getting to the boat on time with a flight that late on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting you!

Kinda wish we could join ya'll at DTD Saturday. We're staying with friends on Merritt Island, though, so we'll just have to wait till we get to the terminal. Then you can bet I'll be scanning the crowd for those lime green DIS badges. And if ya don't have a badge, tie a lime green ribbon on!

Hang in there, Angie! Glad you were able to save the cake! Sounds like something I would do.

I hope you get rid of your headache soon and glad you fixed the cake. I have to say as I was reading your post I couldn't help but put "batman" after the "Holy First Communion".

We are in the same boat. We are staying at the port Saturday night. Hopefully we will see everyone on the ship.

We have a reservation in Melbourne for Saturday night so we won't be at the night before meet. Got some lime green T's and got our name tags done, so I just have to print out the iron-on designs.

Got my sewing machine out of my former sewing room (DSs room since he moved back home in February). Now all I have to do is go through my stash of materials and see if I can whip up some Pirates costumes for DH & me. Time to get motivated.
