DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

I was reading in here that everyone was talking about Disney dose not want you to decorate your doors because the adheasive would get stuck to the door even after. At work we use clear and color contact paper to decorate. It was always comes off and never leaves a mess. You could get clear and maybe use it like tape. Just a suggestion.

I use magnets. I found that the business card magnets work well. I just peel off the white part and put it on the sign (which I've laminated a la contact paper).

Are you still with us on this cruise. Haven't heard from you in a while & FE list is closing on Friday, April 15th if you are & you want in.:goodvibes
I'm sorry I thought I told you. We aren't going on the cruise this year. Opted for 2 weeks in the Keys instead. Have fun!!

This is the response I got from my PM to TiffJ. I will also PM mommyarewegoingback to let her know.

Last cruise I made door magnets by printing out what I made on photo paper then using the self stick laminating sheets and hot glued magnet strips on the back. Super easy and pretty cheap. I made most of the photos using Microsoft Powerpoint.

This year I'd like to do ears around the stateroom number on the room but I just don't know how - does anyone have a file of 'ears' they can share? Plain, decorative, anything....

Thanks!!

There is a thread I think it's called "stateroom ears" something that has the downloadable ears. I downloaded a few but I can't get them to print the right way. You may want to check it out.

Hey there! SO, I've been in such a vacation mood lately that I decided to make Pretzel Crusted Key Lime Bars. I thought you might like to try them too for a little tropical dessert, so wanted to give you my blog address so you could go check it out (I try to test out one new recipe a week to put on my blog. A little challenge to myself for 2011).

Stop on by for a visit here.

Just do a search for Stateroom Mickey Ears. There is a whole thread of them on the cruise boards somewhere.

ooohhh, sounds great! I love key lime...I'm going to make them. thanks!

I was just reading about the champagne tasting onboard...anyone interested?
I doubt DH will go with me, but I think I would like to try it! I think the cost is $20
I've done the martini and tequila ones before and they were great.

Ooohhh! Interested definitely! Where did you read about it? The wine one was okay, hubby loved the beer one.

Count me in!! My DH wouldn't go, either. I've done the martini tasting twice, the tequila tasting and the wine tasting. I've seen whiskey and brandy tasting on the navigators, but not champagne, before. Whoo-hoo, I'll be there! A few more bubbles couldn't possibly hurt!

And I just tossed a few lanyards the other day when I was going through my vacation drawer...:sad1:

We will have 2 extra lanyards , maybe 4 if any of the newbies need them. They will give us 2 at check in and we will have 2 in our DVC gift and maybe 2more in the return cruiser gift bag. We very seldom use ours. I use a waterproof case.

I can't remember who posted the pic of the name badge. Could you please post a blank one and I will add it to the roll call so that everyone can find it easily.

Here it is

champagne tasting would be a blast, but my hubby wouldn't do it either

I don't know about anyone else but the next month can't pass fast enough, we have had a very rough week, and all of us just need to be stress free for a little while.

Chuck I woke up thinking about what your post was going to be! Couldn't get the computer booted up fast enough.

Pathetic, I know. It's the small things in life that will get us thru the next month or so :) :rotfl:

Have a FABULOUS WONDERFUL Friday, DisFriends! :lovestruc

Wow! That is totally awesome. It brings back memories of my Disney vacation...Whew! I remember this store somewhere along the road when my family and I are on our way to Disney...it looked really awesome!

I am so bummed/upset/irritated!!! We were able to book our excursions at the (90 day?) mark...silver castaway booking. When i logged on, all the jetskis were gone already for both days, and the cabanas were not even ON THE LIST as an option. I called DCL TWICE so I could ask two different people about this, and they both told me that you booked the Cabanas when you got on the ship. Which I kind of thought was ridiculous, but figured, okay, we'll see if we can get one then.

I logged back onto the site about 10 days later, and all of the sudden there were jetskis! So I got those booked for the people who wanted them. Still, no cabanas on the listing (whether available or not).

SO I see your msg here:scared1: and promptly rush to DCL site to see, and NOW the cabanas show up on the excursion page, and OF COURSE they are all gone. :confused3 Had I not been MISINFORMED by TWO DCL agents that the cabanas booked on board, I would have watched it like a hawk to try to snag one! :)

Yeesh. I'm seriously irritated. :headache:

I missed yesterday so while getting catching up today I freaked. I was for sure that we would get a cabana on this cruise being as we are on the 3-day right before. We were told the same thing as well. Of course I got right off and went to double and triple check and came up with nothing.

:worship::worship::worship:Because of you guys on here we were able to get a cabana on the 3-day. We really wanted the 5 but we will take what we can get.
