I just found the following on the Cape Canaveral launch schedule:

January 15, 2013 • Falcoln 9•SpaceX CRS 3 -- Launch Site: SLC-40, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida -- SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Dragon C3 for its fifth operational cargo delivery mission to the International Space Station. The flight is being conducted under the Commercial Resupply Services contract with NASA.​

This would be our day at sea. Even from a couple hundred miles away, it maybe something neat to see.
And yes, I know the odds of this going off as scheduled are slim to none given how far off we are. Thought others might be interested.

Preface:
I have a bad habit of carrying my niece everywhere and since my sister and BIL don't carry her anymore (plus she has a baby sister), the only time she gets carried is when I am around. Since I am large, it isn't normally an issue.

So my sister told my niece she was going to WDW and on the cruise but that Mommy and Daddy weren't coming and she was going to go with Grammy and Aunt Emily and her response was, "sweet, I am going to be carried EVERYWHERE!"

Here's to hoping I am not to sore from the half to carry her!

We've never gotten one before, but since we have all the grandkids and DGS3 is only going to be 19 months, we thought it would be a great place to be able to settle him if necessary. So it's a surprise for the kids for Christmas!!! At least, I hope I can keep it secret until then!!!

Thank you! Santa is going to deliver it somehow on Christmas. Im thinking about having "clue" presents leading up to the reveal. Its been very hard not to say anything! I'll keep you posted on how it goes. A cabana is a great surprise for your family! It's so nice having one to go back to and relax while on the island.

Welcome to all the new cruisers! I haven't checked in in a while, last weekend we did a quick 4 day trip to the World where we met up with supercruiser and family and did MNSSHP, The Wild Africa Trek and went SCUBA diving in the Living Seas, it was a busy trip. It was quickly followed by a last minute work trip to South Carolina for some very long days. But the OT will help pay for this cruise! In some new news, due to reasons I am not allowed to say, little sister, brother-in-law and littlest niece will indeed be joining us on this cruise and cancelling their May cruise. Which means, little Clara will be celebrating her first birthday on board with little Aiden! Oh and we had a runner drop out of the half (well they failed to sign-up).

Glad you are officially coming! I would have had to come to Canada to kick your *** if you weren't! I've been telling my Mom about what a fun couple you guys are. Remember, you have to 5ks to train for! I will come to Canada and make you run! Just think, there will be a nice cold Bud Light Lime-A-Rita waiting for you at the finish line!

vanatink - roseannadanna! DH begged off wearing full pirate regalia to MNSSHP this year. My next thought was killer bees but that was voted down pronto. I settled upon a Halloween Cheshire cat scrub shirt and a old party T shirt for the mr. Really enjoy seeing all the elaborate costumes.

Re Cabanas: I was told they currently were all spoken for today when chatting with the rep after I asked what my date was to call in for excursions. She did suggest if I were still interested to try again after the concierge cancellation periods begins...said they see cancellations crop up but especially for January cruises, probably because of holiday bills, etc.

We had an amazing trip! We went to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and we ate at the newly remodeled California Grill and stayed a night at Club Level in the Tower at the Contemporary. It was great to spend time together as I will be away on business from October through January. And it was great to see Supercruiser and family.

MNSSHP was great, I "won" tickets to it through a Disney Parks Blog meet-up that Supercruiser signed me up for (thanks for knowing my email and doing that) The parade was amazing along with the fireworks. We didn't treat or treat or see the Characters but we had a blast. We didn't dress up as I am not a fan of Halloween or costumes. Don't bother trying the candy corn ice cream as it is just vanilla ice cream with candy corn at the bottom of the cone.

We won't be dressing up for pirate night as I mentioned, I don't do costumes ( I don't wanna be anyone but me!) but we will wear an eye patch and DH will a pirate hat and tie. The girls have cute pirate dresses.
