Disney Dream 4-6-2014

Everyone, wanted your input on this. My fiance and I are thinking we may need to drop out of the FEE, but we didn't want to drop out if it was too late (we weren't sure if someone had already made any customized gifts or anything). Unfortunately, we have so much going on we're finding it hard to get organized with it. On top of the wedding, trying to buy a house, and this being my first cruise since I was little and his first cruise ever, we're just a tad stressed about it!

Just wanted other's opinions on this. We feel horrible about it and are thinking it may be best to do the FEE on our second cruise instead.

I have a FEE question to the experienced DCL cruisers out there. When does the exchange start? Are "goodies" delivered all 4 days or just Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday? How quickly do we need to get our FE's out quickly once we get aboard?

Thank you!

JGH...Take care of your wedding. If need to drop out go ahead. I remeber getting married and all the planning....it nuts.

MayoMomma - As for FE exchange it best to get you FE out for the first night. We normally have has our out the first 3 nights and the 4th day. The last you need to have all your bags packed.

ALL....We coming down to 50 day mark. We will need to close out our FE list. Others that come after will need to create there own.

I think we have decided to drop out for this time for the FEE. We will participate in the next one.

Can't believe we're under the 2 month mark!

First time going on a Disney Cruise and just found out about the FE exchange. We would like to participate. There are four of us Me (Katherine) my husband Daniel and two boys Joel 8 and Isaiah 17 months. We are super excited and I love to craft so would love to do the FE. Please help me figure out how many items to bring and how to sign up.

First time Disney Cruiser here. Would like to sign up for the FE for out cruise.
We are a family of 5. Will 10, Alli 7 and Brooke 4 plus mom and dad. Thanks for any advice and help. Can't wait to go cruising! We are from Ga. Mom Robin and Dad Allen.

what we doing with the FE ? We currently have 16 cabins signed up (giving out 15 FE's). Do we want split it up or do we keep it as one big group ? What do we do with new folks ? Do we have start a second group ? Opinions ?

I think we cut it off since it's getting really close. I am good with keeping 16 in the group but it's up to everyone else. I already have my gift for everyone. I think I others come along they will have to start a new group...just my opinion

I think we should split the group in two. 8 cabins per FE. On our last cruise, the majority of participants delivered a gift per person in the cabin. I think 16 cabins is too much to do that. And, it is fun for everyone to check their FE each day for a treat. My husband & I liked it almost as much as our daughter! Plus, 16 cabins is a lot to deliver to. That ship is BIG!

Hang your Fish Extender as soon as you get to your cabin. Some people will have elaborate door decorations as well. You can deliver your goodies at any point during the cruise, but most tend to show up in the first day or two. Last time, our treats were pirate related, so we delivered them on Pirate Day/Night.

I think splitting it might be helpful as well, but we will be happy either way. I do have one request - if we do split into 2 groups I'd like for my cabins to be split 2 cabins in each group (my group consists of the 3 MayoMomma cabins and DisneyGrandmaSue).

We are getting so excited.

So far heard back from 3 folks about what to do with the group of 16...maybe 17.....So far seems like you group opinion is to split the group into 2 groups. One group of 8 and one of 9....If we do this we can go with to 10 per group (if we get few late comers) and add in Witherington5. What do all think ? If you want still give to all if you want......

I hate for anyone to be left out - I know that as a first time cruiser if found out about FEE just past the deadline I would be crushed. So, my vote is two groups. This being said - I'd like to know the plans sooner rather than later. Also, if we split into two groups I'd like my 4 cabins (3 MayoMomma and DisneyGrandmaSue) to be splint two into each group, please. :)

One other question for you experienced cruisers who have previously done FEE: are we assigned a specific day to deliver our treats or do we just do it any day we choose?

Thanks!:yay::yay:
