Disney Dream 3 night 9/18/14

Anyone going on this cruise?

We just booked to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. This is going to be our 2nd Disney cruise- our first was a 2 day on the Magic out of NYC. We couldn't find a babysitter for a week so we are bringing our 3 kids (DD8, DS3, DD1) with us. Cruising first, then spending a few days at WDW. Our anniversary is 9/24. We really want to stay at the Poly but now I'm having second thoughts due to the construction that is going to be going on there next year.

Hoping to get a fish extender group together...

I started the thread to see who else was on this cruise. I guess this will be the place to tell everyone a little about your family and get to 'know' one another. Also feel free to ask questions and I'm sure there will be some knowledgeable cruisers who will be able to answer.

okay, let's try it out! i'm nicole (23) dh is ben (25) and our two ds' are riley (3) and emmett (1.5) (add a year on to everyone for cruising age!) also traveling with us will be my mother in law, to grant us a bit of vacation from vacationing with the kids! this will be out first disney trip as a family, i'm the only one who's been (wdw several times) otherwise. we are VERY excited and counting down already. i come from a very disney family and DCL has come very highly recommended by two close family members. we are hoping my mother, father, and a few siblings can join us but they are slightly flaky so it's a toss up

We will also be celebrating our anniversary on board as well. 15 years the same day it sails. It is a surprise for my DW. This will also be our first cruise ever. I figured a three day would be just right to get our feet wet and see if it's for us. I'm not sure when I will give her surprise on either x-mas or her b-day in Feb. Anyway it's just the two of us sailing we don't have kids. But yet we visit Disney every year and are DVC members. Plan on a couple of days at the parks then the cruise.
I'm glad this thread was started so we could at least get to know those cruising along with us.

I'm sure you are going to love the cruise. Hopefully you can get a reservation for Palo. I've heard it is worth it.

Me (Jennifer), dh (Andy), dd (Mason 11) will be traveling with my brother-in-law (Adam), sister-in-law (Crystal), and their two children (Elli 10 and Noah 7). This is all of our first time to cruise. We will be spending four nights in the park and then taking our cruise the last part of the vacation.
We are really excited and can't wait to go and meet all of you.

We would definitely be interest in being apart of the fish extenders for this cruise. Please feel free to share any tips and secrets to us newbies that you vetrans of cruising have, we love free advice!

Hello, I am very excited as I have just booked my first cruise.
We are coming to USA from Australia for a month next September stopping at Disneyland and WDW. I am the biggest disney nut, but spreading the disney love to my children.
My daughters and I do suffer from sea sickness, which is making me nervous but I have read heaps of trip reports and have come up with plenty of ideas as to make it smooth sailing for us. We have booked two rooms - our ages next year
Dh (47), me (38), dd(15), ds(14), ds(13), dd(10). I would definitely love to join a FE group.

Hi! I just booked today! I couldn't find a Facebook page for this cruise so I made one real quick! Search Disney Dream September 18-21, 2014. This is my first ever cruise (& obviously disney cruise) as well as my FIRST ever Disney experience! I have read multiple things about the Fish Extender Exchange and would love to participate if anyone else is doing it!

We are doing the opposite. We are cruising first then heading to WDW for a few days.
