Disney Dream 3 March 2011

Expert - hardly - I have many nights of cruising on Disney - by the time I take this cruise I will have sailed 68 nights! all but 4 of those will have been done on the magic and the last 4 will be on the dream right before this cruise! I have never done any cruises on the wonder so taking a short cruise will be a new experience for me!

Yes I have done Fish Extenders and Secret Mickey's on all but my first cruise - so 5 cruises - love doing them so I will be glad to head it up!

Krisann

Brill thanks!

Booked! I think this will be cruise #9...all previous cruises have been on The Wonder! Excited to experience The Dream...couldn't wait until our typical Nov/Dec sailing...So, PIXIE DUST that the weather will be nice! I got alittle nervous reading about someone's cruise the first of March last year.:worship: Hoping to get a couple of friends onboard as well. This will be my first cruise without my BCB (Best Cruising Buddy...happens to be my 14 yr old DD...now that she'll be in HS..she's worried about missing school) So, I'll be bringing my DTD and DTS who will be 11...and leaving DS 17 DD 14 at home.:confused3 But, as I told them both....the good news is that I'll have saved up Christmas $$ and if I need to rebook while onboard for later in 2011...I can!:cool1:

Ok...so, anyone else have past March experiences to share? In terms of weather?

Booking tomorrow for this cruise for my family of 4. We have 2 girls my DD#1 who will turn 5 the end of March and DD#2 who will be about 10-1/2 months. I can't wait. This is our first cruise. We are doing a land to sea and starting in WDW the Sat before. I'm planning on running the Princess Half on the 27th of February.

pirate:Hi all!!
My daughter and I will be sailing on March 3. March 5th will be her 13th Birthday so this is her gift - as well as mine!!! I have been waiting for years to go on a Disney Cruise and I AM SO EXCITED !! I think the fish extenders thing looks like an extra bit of fun for the trip!!-gotta make my extender -I guess I have time.. haha.. Im really glad to see that there are others out there who are anticipating this trip so far out.. Actually - time will fly!!!!!!!!!! At 43 it always does now..

Just wanted to say hello and say we are going on this cruise - this will be the 2nd part of our B2B - it will be our 8th cruise (the first part will be our 7th :) ) and the big thing is that this will be my dd's 16th birthday! We will also be traveling with our DS (13) who is so excited about the new tween club.

I am up for fish extenders - I would be glad to head it up if anyone else is interested!

are anyone else's kids my kid's ages? they would love to "meet" some friends before the cruise!

Krisann

Hi There -I would like to be part of fish extenders too - it sounds like a lot of extra fun- March 3rd seems sooo far off -yet I can't stop thinking about it !!

Is it bad that I have already started getting ready for our cruise and it is still 7 months out?

I started on my 1st dress for DD last night. I'm starting w/ her dress for dinner in the Enchanted Garden as it is easiest of my planned outfits. I have 7 outfits planned for each of my 2 girls a 3 night cruise (+ 5 outfits each for our 5 days @ WDW before the cruise). I'm crazy I know it.

Ok I am sorry I have not been putting things together but I have been preparing for our WBTA cruise and europe trip.

I will be putting together a google spreadsheet for everyone to put information on for the FE's and if you want to do Secret Mickey.

I was wondering the same thing. Is a secret Mickey different from a FE?

Hi there I guess it must be- we'll just have to wait and see I suppose. Thank you for responding!! I am more excited about this cruise than I can even describe... I have a 12 yr old DD and she thinks I'm crazy. Well, hope the outfits are going great for you... They're (kids) soo much fun when they're little..

Hello everyone! I have made a Spreadsheet for this cruise and the Feb. 27 Cruise (for those of us double dipping) - please go out and fill in your info that you have and things you might like to do (Cabin Secret Mickey, Lanyards, etc.)

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc...FUwUTVYUEl1ZHJ5YmlqLWc&hl=en&authkey=CNHqmY4J

please look at the bottom of the file to select the correct date as both are on there!

Once I get back from the WBTA in october I will be more active on this list :)

I need to bow out of this tread. I switched our cruise to the 7 night on the magic instead.

Just booked the March 3 Cruise. We were booked for the Feb 24th, but our School Vacation is a week later this year, so I had to switch. We will be staying at POR the first part of the week, then off on our first cruise. It will be Me, DBF, and DD (12).

Hello all - I actually changed to the 4 night on March 6, 2011 Happy sailing to all !!! Magic Happens!!!
Penny !

Booked the same cat 5 cabin for both sailings, can't wait. Just came off the Oasis of the Seas. Loved the Oasis and it got me more amped for the Dream. Plus we are sailing the first cruise with some great friends. We have been on the Wonder and were married on the Magic last September. I am looking forward to getting active on the board as we get closer and meeting some of you. Thanks for getting this rolling

Me - Shawn - 34 (at cruise time)
My Wife - Nichole - 34(at cruise time)

Hello everyone - this cruise is coming faster than I thought! I am so excited for it and I just booked 2 cabanas for CC! With that said, our party is only 9 and the cabana's hold 12 so I was wondering if anyone out there wanted to share our 2nd cabana - the cost is $84 per person plus tip (most are saying $10 per person) so that would be around $94 per person and comes with floats, snorkle, bike riding, and other things also - there is a thread showing pictures and details on the main board - those who have done it say it is wonderful! just send me a PM if you are interested.

Krisann

How did you book a cabana?

We were told by DCL that they were not taking any reservations past November??

OK, i figured it out.

I booked Cabana 5 for this trip, and we are in cabana 3 on the first part of our back to back!

This was from another thread:

GREAT NEWS:
Just got off the phone with DCL concierge. They have changed their policy and we can now book additional guests into the cabana for $50 per person.

Just to clarify, 6 guests are included in the price of the cabana. The additional charge is for any additional guests.

THANK YOU DCL!!!
