Hi everyone!
I just got off the disney dream! It was a wonderful time. First time on the dream, has previously been on the magic in December. 3 nights is not my ideal length of a cruise but it was perfect for a short trip with my dad.
The crowd levels weren’t terrible. I never did find out a guest count but you could always find a place on the pool deck or in the adults area. I did notice a line for the family pools on the sea day, and adults pool area was very crowed but not overly crowded. We saw beauty and the beast both nights it was offered we arrived 45 minutes prior and sat right down front. It didn’t appear that the show filled up on the last night. We tried to arrive early to everything just in case we only weren’t able to get into one trivia due to capacity but it was in the small pub. Castaway didn’t feel over crowed either, so that was nice.
The food was just okay. I felt this way on the magic in December as well. We went to one of the MDR for lunch on the sea day and it was extra slow service which I expect that would be slower then dinner but it was to the point it took 1hr just to have an app and entree. The server and server assistant were okay, I preferred my server on the magic better.
I enjoyed the size of the upper decks and guest areas on the dream but the different lounges I prefer the ones on the magic I just felt they had more space.
Overall it was a good trip.
