Disney Dream- 3-10-2011 (3 night)

We are finally down to single digits. Final question of the week.

For those who have previously sailed

What is your favorite memory/experience on a DCL ship?

What is your favorite memory/experience on a DCL ship?

It may seem silly, but for us, it was the greeting upon entering the ship.

We had no idea it was coming, and when we walked into that gorgeous atrium and heard our family being personally welcomed with applause by the crew, we were so blown away. We felt like movie stars! My husband and I got big, goofy grins on our faces, and our son was hopping up and down and shouting, "That's US!"

It set the tone for the whole cruise- a blissful few days of magic!

Yeah that's a classy touch

My favorite memory is relaxing and reading on deck four.;)Or maybe it is sitting, reading at the Cove:)Or maybe it is brunch at Palo's (of course that's not happening this time:guilty:Or maybe it is watching the ship pull away from Port Canaveral or into Castaway Cay:rotfl:Or just being on the ship:banana:Or breakfast at Topsiders or Beach Blanket or Cabanas soon:cloud9:I guess I can't make up my mind which or thing is my favorite...Oh yeah, Pubnight with Ponz, Mel, Dave, Nigel, etc. I LOVE if I were not upon the sea...do you think they will be doing that or is that only for longer cruises?:flower3:

Weather Report:

3/10/11- Thursday: Cape Canaveral, FL: 30% chance of rain w/ isolated thunderstorms. (pffft! Who cares? That means a 70% chance of sunshine!) :cloud9: High of 79 and low of 59.

3/11/11- Friday: Nassau: 10% chance of rain (90% chance of sunshine! whee!), partly cloudy. :cool2: High of 80 and low of 68.

3/12/11- Saturday: Nassau (had to use Nassau again, because oddly, Castaway Cay wasn't on the Weather Service list!) 10% chance of rain, partly cloudy. :cool2: High of 80 and low of 67.

3/13/11- Sunday: Cape Canaveral, FL: 30% chance of rain w/ isolated thunderstorms. :cloud9: High of 74, low of 58.

Me: 100% chance of excitement, with isolated squeals from my inner child. All Highs, no lows. :dance3:

I knew about this. I am looking forward to seeing my DH expression. I was toying with giving different names. My DH loves to mess with escorts on our trips. We went on this one bus trip and every time we boarded the bus he used a couples from old tv shows.

I have been looking as well all week for the forecast. We are leaving on Monday night for Orlando and will be there until Thursday when we can board. Can't wait to get there. It will be so much fun!:yay:

Hello all! We have a surprise for you...

It's just a little something to get you more excited about the cruise! My mother, MomOfCTurp, and I just finished our FE tonight for our trip! We wanted to share photos of our homemade Fish Extender:

WOW!!! I'm excited about the Premear!! But when the heck am I going to sleep on this cruise? Too much to do!

Cordelia - your FE is beautiful! I could never make such a thing myself. Which is why I ordered one. I'm very pleased with it. I should get a picture up.

Still working on the packing. We are leaving Tuesday to drive down. Might have to leave a little earlier than planned because of the predicted weather. Could be a wet drive!

It is currently pouring at my house. It is suppose to rain the entire day and night. So my plans for today is to finish my FE goodies and start getting clothes ready to pack:banana:
