Disney Dream- 3-10-2011 (3 night)

Hello March 10th Dreamers!! I just wanted to post to say hello. We are not doing the FE or the meet and greet with you all but none the less, we hope everyone has a wondeful cruise!! On this trip it's me, DD (age 13), my sister and her DD (age 16) and DS (age 20). This will be me and DD's 4th Disney cruise but my sister and her two kids have not cruised with Disney yet so this will be their 1st! We're so excited!! Only 11 more days and we'll be on a flight to Orlando!! Anyone doing a Pre-Trip Report and/or Trip Report? I may start one but haven't decided yet.

Woo hoo! I finally got all of our FE gift bags ready to go! Now maybe I should start packing... Well, maybe after I finish sewing our FE hanger...

We are getting SO CLOSE now! The countdown is definitely on! We will soon be at the 10-day mark!

Hi Mickeyluv - I've got a PTR going and the link is in my signature. It's called Someday is Sooner Than You Think. I plan on doing a TR when we get home too.

We received our FE and pillowcases in the mail last week - so excited!! They look beautiful - far nicer than anything that I could have EVER made!

Working on my "to do" list and planning, but haven't started packing yet! DH has most of the FE gift stuff ready to go, just have to bag and label!

I am so sorry that I didn't think of this idea sooner.... but hopefully Disney will be able to accommodate our request, they are usually pretty flexible about things, when they can.

I'm not sure if its too late... but I will gladly call DCL tomorrow and ask to see if there is any way that they can MAGICALLY make it happen. All I need to know is your reservation number the first and last name, so they can add you to our table. I will let you know what they tell me.... *crosses fingers and praying for a positive response*

Either way, I would love to meet you at some point during our trip. Will you be at the meet and greet that DH (Nick) had organized?

Hi! I have a few last minute questions that popped into my head.

1. What is the one thing you will definitely pack because you can't live without it?

2. Do we keep the FE holder hanging up over night?


3. Do the taxis cab drivers and Atlantis take American money?


4. If you prepaid your gratuities, do they provide envelopes and a slip for you to give to the cast members? Or should I bring envelopes in case I want to add to the gratuity?

My girlfriend gets off the WDW radio cruise on the Dream tomorrow. I know that she is staying for a few days at Disney and doing that new African Trek activity. I am hoping to hear from her over the weekend. I will pass on any good tibits of information.

2. Do we keep the FE holder hanging up over night? Yes, last time I tied it down with a tie wrap.

3. Do the taxis cab drivers and Atlantis take American money? Yes, I think so.

4. If you prepaid your gratuities, do they provide envelopes and a slip for you to give to the cast members? Or should I bring envelopes in case I want to add to the gratuity? Enveloppes are left on your bed. I'm not sure what happens if you prepaid though...

If you prepaid they will give you tickets with your servers' and host's names on them with the amount you are tipping. They look like the tickets for your first night dinning or and excursion that you purchased I think. They should come with the envelopes. You can just put them in the appropriate envelope or add to it with cash if you feel the need.

Okay, it's two things. Power strip and chapstick

Yes, and we used wire ties to make sure it stayed there too.

They took it from us in the past!

Yes, they will give you a printed reciept thing to give it to them.
