We took a taxi over to Atlantis on our first cruise and wandered around the hotel and grounds a bit. Took lots of pictures. We did not go to or have access to the waterpark though. I think we paid about the same - maybe $20 for the four of us.
There was a lot of drivers waiting as you disembark and then they had some at Atlantis to take you back. Easy Peasy.

Hi Everyone!
I just added 2 more families to the FE. We have previously discussed splitting into groups if we got to 20. We are now at 20. I think we should split into 2 groups and if you want to give to more you are certainly welcomed to. The deadline is not until Feb. I am planning on splitting the list in half equally. At present time the first group will be names 1-10 and the second group 11-20. Keep in mind we still have a week for people to let us know if they want to participate.

That sounds like heaven!!! We might hit a balmy 32 later this week! Is it sad that I am excited about that? We haven't hit freezing since Christmas.


On the FE list - I think we should wait to see where we are on Feb 1. If it's 21 or 22, that's fine with me to leave it. Much more than that can get burdensome and/or expensive for people. I'm getting started on my gifts and have planned for at least 20, so I'm okay with a few more. Besides, February 1 is on Tuesday already!!!

Here are my thoughts about where we all can meet up!

The Wonder and Magic had the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3 Midship in between Lumiére's/Triton's and Parrot Cay. I thought this would be a good spot to meet since there was a lot of room to mingle and it's not too crowded. However, after looking at the nightclubs, the Dream does not have the Promenade Lounge.

Instead, in the same place, they have a bar called Bon Voyage. The website says this about Bon Voyage: "Bon Voyage, a relaxing lounge located on Deck 3, Midship aboard the Disney Dream, is a cozy bar where families can enjoy a refreshing beverage or snack throughout the day." But since this is on Deck 3 near Guest Services and the main staircase, it could get a bit crowded around here.

The other idea I had to meet is Waves Bar. "Waves, a sunny bar located on Deck 12, Aft aboard the Disney Dream, is a breezy spot where Guests of all ages can relax with a chilled beverage." It's designed for families in mind.

I'll just let everyone know that our cabin (9016) is doing FE gifts for everyone. We already have them done for all cabins on the list and are fine with adding a few more if need be. If you want to do all, then you can give to all.

We just received our room assignment it is 2035 which is a handicapped inside state room I will be interested to see what the setup is. We hadn't requested one but it looks much larger and since we are all adults a tub isn't necessary. Oh also by the way my name is spelled a little different than most people with my name it is JoAn

We most likely won't be doing anything lime green because my daughter's godfather, Jason (who is also a long time DISer), just isn't into any of that kind of stuff. No matching shirts or lime green for him! LOL He's big into decorating the doors and the fish extenders, though......go figure!
