I called WDW merchandising as soon as they opened this morning and was told they are out of the large tote and the wristlet. She offered me a backorder and said they should arrive between the end of October and the end of November.

I'm going to be at WDW Friday. Can someone please tell me the various stores I can look for these at? So far I know about World of Disney ( will definitely try there first!) and the Grand Floridian, which I won't get to.

There are two other threads that have been running for quite some time that can detail all the stores that you can find these purses. I would highly recommend going through the merchandise line as people have been reporting that one person will buy up everthing at the store when it opens. People that ordered through the merchandise line on 11/6 are reporting their purses shipped today. This may save you from running all over the park trying to locate one.

I am sure that is what is going on with the person in my link above for the pic of the wristlet. It's pretty obvious that she has snatched up a bunch of them and is reselling them on Ebay, which is perfectly legal but she is charging $98 for them. A PP says the wristlet retail is $45. AND, she is taking orders for the other styles, so her plan is probably to be that one person you are speaking of. Not really fair, but legal. WDW should have a limit on them.

I am going to wait and see what happens on my Dec. 18 trip. I would like to see and touch this in person, also they are one of a kind so I would want to see the pattern placement on it. If they don't have any and I am still interested, I may place an order.

I ordered through the DisneyWorld Merchandise Line and got the wristlet and the large tote. Shipping is not cheap but way better than the prices they are charging on ebay. Like you said it is legal, but not nice for those of us that just want the item without paying an arm and a leg.

My sister tried to get one of those purses at Trend-D at DTD. They were out. The manager told her they are gone as soon as they come in. The don't know how many shipments they will receive. Needless to say, my sister wasn't able to get one.

Yes. My sister got her bag on Friday. While we were in the store, one lady was there buying six of them. That is why they go so fast!

They are some type of fabric. Each one is slightly different based on the fabric and how it was cut. My sister looked through a bunch until she found one with Mickey on the front. Another had Tink on the front. Another had Dumbo. It just all depends on where they cut on the bolt of fabric.

Here is a picture of one that someone has listed on Ebay. The ones on sale at WDW are $154.00 (or very close to that amount). The ones on Ebay are going for $200 plus.

Here is the wristlet. It is selling at WDW for $45.00. The auction on Ebay starts at $89.00.

I LOVE those purses, and am praying they are available at DTD when we are down there in a month and a half. It seems unfortunate that someone is snatching them up, then turning a profit on ebay. But, that's life, I guess.

I have a Disney Visa, so I will get a discount. I also have $50 in Disney Gift cards. But, man, I'd still be looking at $100 for a purse. I never in my life imagined spending that kind of money on a purse. You are talking to someone who gets her purses at the 80% off bin at Kohls. The last purse I bought was $7.50!

I guess we'll see.

My friend is there right now & got this one (I think $150) and she said there is a smaller one with a body strap, and a wristlet. World of Disney is out of the wristlet, expecting more tomorrow.

That is the TOTE, they sell for $175 - there is also a smaller purse that sells in the $150 range.

I looked for any tags in mine that might say what it is made of, but there is nothing. It is definitely not leather - maybe some sort of vinyl? I do not like the way the material feels so I am not keeping it. I believe the straps are leather.

I bought mine last night at WOD. The tote is $175. They didn't have any of the smaller tassel bags, which go for $150. Tren-D had the wristlets and the totes.

I did not get to pick which one I wanted at WOD. They are all wrapped in tissue and held behind the jewelry counter. You could pick at Tren-D but I wanted the 10%.

I'm happy with mine.

If you are familiar with Dooney and Bourke purses it is made of the same vinyl type material that all their other Grafica style bag are. They are the standard Grafica style tassel tote and medium tote.
