He wants Anakin to take music lessons. He thinks his sound sensitivity could give him an ear for music. To which Anakin said, "I want to play drums!"

I am pleased to hear how well the neuro visit went. I hav ehad three kids who have been in band. One trumpet who later played the sousaphone, a clarinet who also played the sax, and my son who has stuck with the trombone. I think music is a great outlet for kids. My son Loren would kill to play the drums.

I think the drums would kill me! How were the horns? Grumpy played violin and guitar! Guitar was nice, violin was a bit squeaky in the beginning.

Glad the neuro visit went well.

Grumpy went through a drum phase. Goofy said the drums are up in the attic. I knew they disappeared, but I didn't know they were go close all this time, lol. (They are toy drums.)

I went to download the pictures from yesterday and realized the pics from AK on Labor Day weekend were not downloaded yet. I'm in the process of doing that. We had realized that we visited all parks, except AK in search of photopass photographers. Couldn't have that, so we went to AK for a few hours on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The boys went fishing on Labor Day. The pictures are downloading to photobucket. I finished editing the photopass pics, hope to finalize the cd today!

Well, the trumpet, sousaphone, trombone and sax are not that bad, but the clarinet was horrible until she got past the clunkers. The sharp noise it makes when the note is missed hurt my ears.

After going through security we noticed there was nobody in line to see Brer Bear. Anakin had some serious reservations about visiting this guy. This IS the nemesis on his favorite attraction. He wasn't sure if he would be chased. We assured him it is ok.

None of our passes worked going through the gate. Had to scan the barcode on each one. Thank goodness for the barcode!! Funny how the passes work at the fast pass machines. Guess that's more important anyway!

We were looking at the animals when Anakin burst out in song at the top of his lungs, "Rio...Rio...Rio..."

(He is often known to quote movie or television lines when answering or trying to tell us something.)

I don't know if they still do this before park closing or not? But at the end of the day, they use to take the animals from their displays. I remember once watching an animal follow a ringing bell when Grumpy was around Anakin's age. Does anyone know if they still do this?

LOVE the birds, haven't seen Rio yet, but I do want to!!!! Love Brer Bear. Funny, I woulda been going up to him wanting to see his BUTT!!! Since he does nothing but show his butt on the ride!!! HAHAHA He does look happy in that picture.

HAHAHAHA Glad we could be of service!!! We're just weird like that and notice weird things I guess!! After the Gorilla on Saturday, my perspective on butts have changed quite a bit BLECH!!!

There was no line for Winnie The Pooh and friends either!!

Tigger danced with him! That's another area where he is not shy. He will break out in dance when we least expect it.

Anakin got it in his head that he was going to ride the coaster in Dinoland. We told him that was too rough for him.

Boy was I thankful to see it closed! But man did it cause a meltdown for him. He refused to look or do anything in Dinoland. We had to keep moving his hand from hurting himself. Thankfully this meltdown didn't last long. A year ago his meltdowns were draining us both. They lasted an hour or more. So thankful for the improvements in his behavior!! It took alot of work to get to this point!

Once we got out of Dinoland he was back to his cheerful self.

Aww, thank you! It was so special having the characters spend the extra time with him! We weren't rushed at all.

I took a picture of a new Grumpy mug on Monday, thought of your Grumpy and mine when I saw it. Also I think he will like the new Dumbo ears. Got a pic of them for him too!
