Disney Dollars

Does anybody know if Disney dollars can be purchased anywere besides in the park? My family wants buy Disney Dollars for my daughter for her suprise Christmas trip to Disneyland.

Just bought dd/ds's at our local Disney Store.

Disney $$$ are all we asked for for our Christmas presents for both DH and myself and our four year old DS. I then went out and bought toys on Black Friday seriously discounted, wrapped them and will give them to family and friends to give my son when they come over to exchange presents...because alot of them thought that Cristian would not be happy without a real present. I on the other hand...will use the DD for massages, souveniers and toys or junk DS wants to buy down there. We are going Jan21. Because we all know that usually you get a lot of things for Christmas that you either don't need or want so this seemed like a no brainer.

Do Disney Dollars expire?

I would not think they expire...you pay dollar for dollar on them.

Disney Dollars never expire - they are treated just like cash at the Disney parks, resorts, and stores around the US.

In fact, if you pay for something with DD$, you get change back in regular US currency, or you might get some DD$ back if the cashier has some in their till.

I never thought of using Disney dollars. I may purchase some for my niece for souvenirs for our next trip.
