Disney Dollars

How do I go about getting Disney Dollars for my family here in Ontario?Where can we use them in Florida? My husband and I thought they would be handy for our girls to use.

Hi there!

We're giving some disney dollars to our nephews for our upcoming trip. They're so excited to have "mickey money"! Unfortunately, they don't sell disney dollars in Canadian disney stores. You can phone Disney directly, and get them mailed to you, or, I've also heard of American disney stores mailing them to you as well (you pay for shipping). I do it a little differently by doing reward programs (pm me if you want more info on these) online. When you earn enough points, you can redeem your points for disney dollars. This takes a few months to earn, however, so if you need the disney dollars quickly, it would be better to phone Disney or a nearby American disney store.

You can use disney dollars in all Disney property. This means in the themeparks, hotels, downtown disney, waterparks, etc... Good luck!!

You have to get them in the US I would be willing to bet if you called down to WDW and spoke to guest relations they could probably sell you some then send them to you. I just have my sister in PA go to the Disney store and get them for me.

Does anyone have any idea how much WDW would charge for shipping Disney Dollars to Canada????

I was just there, I can't believe I didn't think to get some then. Now DD7 is saving her $$ for a reptile (yuck) so she has no interest in saving for WDW.

Riu girl - I'm not sure how much Disney would charge. If memory serves, it was cheaper for Disney to mail them than it was for an American Disney store to mail them. Someone posted a year or two ago that they looked into both options. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!!
