I would like to give my daughter some Disney Dollars to spend, does anybody know if/where I can buy them in the UK?

If not where do I buy them in Disney?

hi, i can only answer the first part of your question - but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere on these boards that you can't buy them in the UK.

I imagine they're pretty widely available to buy in WDW most likely from Guest Services

You cant buy them in the UK.
They are easy to find in most disney stores, especially downtown disney.
Ive just purchased some for my DS as a christams present as we are due to go again in May.

They are great and you get a choice of which notes you want(which chararcters)

Hi Lucy,

They are "dollars" as in there's a $1, $5, $10 etc note but they are printed with Disney charcters and are legal tender (!) only in Disney.

I gather Disney make a mint out of these as they "cost" the same dollar for dollar as "real" money and then of course people keep them for souvineers( like me!) or else put them in a drawer and forget they've ever had them. Or get home from Disney and realise they have forgotten to spend them! They would make a nice gift at birthdays / Xmas etc (if you lived in the US as you can't buy them here) for children. They are nice for children but I must admit I just give mine actual dollars for their spending money.

I personally wouldn't bother unless you want one as a souvineer!
