Disney dollars

Anyone out there know about disney dollars and if you can use them for food, concessions stands, i.e. drinks, ice creams. I was thinking of getting them for stocking stuffers and wanted to know if you could use them "everywhere". ::

Yes, you can pay using disney dollars for anything at disney. But when they give you change, it will be in american $.

I'm putting some in my sons stocking also.
