If I give a child disney dollars can they use them at the theme parks?:

We often gave Disney Dollars to the kids at Christmas. They loved getting them and it helped that they would have them for our January trip to WDW.

#1 Where can you purchase them? Online?

#2 Where can you use them? DTD?

I purchased them at the Disney Store and have used them at DD but don't know if all store will take them in DD

You can purchase them at The Disney Store, Theme Park Guest Relations, or Disney Resort Guest Services.
They are valid at Disney-run merchandise and food/beverage locations.
(most of the marketplace, PI shops, and DisneyQuest/Cirque merch, parks and resorts).

they work just like cash on disney property...i used them everywhere...we got them for x-mas and b-days leading up to our last trip...they can be bought at the disney store and probably even at disney
