Does anyone know if you can buy disney dollars before you get to Disney? Does the Disney store sell these or is this something you can only get at WDW? I just thought that would be a good idea to have people give my daughters disney dollars for christmas instead of toys! They are all for the idea, but I don't know where or if you can get disney dollars. Also, do disney store gift cards work at WDW. Any advice you have would be great!
Yes, you can get Disney $ at the Disney Store. The Christmas idea is a great one, we did the same for both kids' b-days and they've got $100 D$ each heading into our trip. That's 200 beans plucked right out of Dad's budget!
We did the same thing for our recent trip to Disney. Started giving the kids their allowance in Disney Dollers. They loved it and so did I. They are so cute. I picked my up at the Disney store and they added to our excitement when we went down. It is amazing how frugal children become when they are spending there own money. My son went down with 80.00 and came home with 50.00-stuff just wasnt worth it when it came to his money.. I loved it.. Have fun
