If there are valued $ for $ what are the advantages of buying and using them.

Only reason I bought some was as a momento. I suppose it would be good to give the kids as their spending money for the parks. Unsure of any other benefits. If you do want to get some as a keep sake, get uncirculated ones from Guest Services as tills normally have used dollars.

They're special for kids and if they "lose" one or two, you don't feel so bad.

I have never seen them, so cool! I think Ill get them for ds to use for his souvenirs. I am going to try and get them for his easter egg hunt-Ill put them in large eggs.
I can get them in a disney store at home?? Are there differnt kinds or same pic on $1, 5 and 10?

I bought them for my kids - to put in their Easter Baskets- and also my best friend's kids who will be headed to Disney just after Easter!

I was only able to get $5 bills nad they have Minne and Daisy on them in a Celebrate theme!

I think it's a great way to get the kids excited for upcoming trips! Maybe even use them in place of rewards or allowances.

if you forget to spend them all or lose them disney will keep your money at no extra charge

I love them because we give them to DD all yr long for things, Easter, xmas stocking, bday, good report card, etc..;and then she has her OWN $ to spend when we are in WDW and when its gone, she is done buying, works beautifully!
She has $40 saved up right now in disney dollars and we dont go till Oct!

I use Disney Dollars to save for my trip. I can't spend them on anything else. If I try to save cash, there is always the possibility of using it for something else. This year I plan to give some as gifts to my children and grandchildren for Gramma's 50th birthday trip next year!!!!

I used to buy about $35 dollars worth every time I went to the mall (about 3-4 times per month) I would hoard them all in my dresser drawer and when it came time for Disney, I would have about $400-$500 dollars for spending money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a great way to save!!!! Also great stocking stuffers, birthday presents, etc. (Our Disney store closed so I don't buy them anymore

We got ours at the Disney store here. I got them to put in the boys Easter eggs instead of money. If you don't use them all at the Disney Parks, you can use them in the Disney Stores as well. But I'm sure we'll have no problem using them in the parks .

They're just fun, adds to the planning and excitement. I like them because you get regular cash back as change. A gift card your stuck to use at Disney or online. Not that I'd have a hard time using up a gift card on vacation

Alot of snacks are $2.50, so having a bunch of $5 dd is perfect for myself and my daughter when we want a treat.

I mostly get mine as survey rewards (have $200 so far for next trip). Sometimes buy them, but my disney store doesn't keep much stock.

I didn't realise they still did Disney Dollars as i've not heard anyone mention them for so long. i've still got a couple left from my last trip (1989!!!) i'd love to get some for my DD before we, does anyone know of anyway i could buy then from the UK? xx

I left work, ran to the mall and when I got there... Disney Store going out of business! I cant get them before easter. Darn Ill have to get then from the another store but the closest one is 45min away.
