Disney dollars??

Does anyone use these for the kids? Can they be used anywhere for anything at WDW? TIA

I think they can be used anywhere. You can even use them in the disney store. My kids are doing a chart and will get a disney dollar for every 3 stickers they get in a week and also will get disney dollars for doing chores. Also the Easter bunny is bringing them and I asked people to give them that for their birthday.

You can use them everywhere in WDW I have even used them for snacks or water in the park. They are all I ask for for christmas and by birthday and I am the mommy!

We always give our kids Disney Dollars for any occasions (birthday,Easter)prior to our trip - so does the tooth fairy .

You can buy them at most Disney stores or directly from Disney (w/samll fedex shipping fee). Sometimes Disney stores run out of either all or some denominations so I always call ahead since for me it's about 20 min to the closest Disney store. If they don't have them they can usually tell me when they expect to get them. They come in $1, $5, $10 denominations. This year we're leaving for WDW on Easter night so I'm hoping that the Easter Bunny will fill some of those Easter eggs with Disney Dollars instead of candy!!

You can use them anywhere in WDW (I've never heard of anyplace that you can't) - it's treated like regular money - and if you have change from a purchase thay usually give it back in regular money.

We love Disney $'s! I highly recomend them for the kids and adults! We got tons for Christmas before our last trip! I plan to use them as rewards incentives up to our trip and then leaving each kid some maybe $5 a day on our trip while they are sleeping......

The nearest Disney store is an hour away for me, so I am interested in buying them from Disney. Where do you go to purchase them directly from Disney? Do you go to Disney's website or to the Disney Store online?

Can the Disney Dollars be used to pay for things like the Bibbidee Bobbidee Salon and the Alice in Wonderland Tea Party?

THANKS! $3.00 is much cheaper than gas (and time) to drive an hour one way to the Disney Store!
