Disney Dollars at restaurants???

Hi All.
My 2 children DD8 & DS5 have a decent stash of Disney Dollars (from their allowance for chores and from birthday presents). When we go to WDW in August, I was wondering if these were usable in some restaurants (either sit down or counter service). I know they can be used in gift shops. Can they be used at the snack carts? Does anyone know?

Yes they can be used anywhere on Disney Property.

Glad they want to spend theirs. My son wants to keep certain ones. I guess that is one way to get him to save money. Give him Disney Dollars and he will never spend any money. Hehehe

Actually my DD8 does want to keep a few with her 'favorirte' characters on them. She actually has one from when DH & I went on our honeymoon 11 years ago.

I figured even though we're on the DDP, they could buy some snacks and such - better than $100 worth of 'souvenirs' (that might end up in a drawer).

I didn't know that you cxan get Disney Dollars. How and where do you get them so you can use them? I am just wondering. Would love to have one or two for scrapbooking too.

You can purchase them from the concierge desk at your resort, the guest services at the theme parks and from the Disney Stores in the malls.
