My daughter has potty trained her self in little more then a week. She really stated on the 17th of this month and has totally removed her self from even using the little potty seat that seats over the toilet seat.We still use the rest of the diapers for nite time though.I told her if she wanted to go to Mickeys house(we r going in Sept) she had to start using the big potty.I also told her that when she learned how to go potty on the big one then Mickey would send her disney dollars.Does anybody know who they have on them now? What characters? She is turning 3 on june1st and I said Mickey was going to send her some Mickey money.

I tried the same tactic "If you want to go to Mickey's house, you have to use the potty". :thumbsup2. Unfortunately, that still hasnt' worked too well. :-(

When I got my DD some for Easter, they had Stitch on them. Not sure if there is another character or not, but that's who we have.

I am going in tonight and I will find out. I am pretty sure one of them has a princess right now.

I am SO jealous! Allie (3 last Friday) has now mastered the peeing in the potty, but refuses to poop there. I actually told her she wasn't going to Disneyworld unless she pooped in the potty and she told me she was, so who knows...

My twin boys have been VERY challenging when it came to potty training.
One boy was trained last Sept at 3 and he was completely trained, pee and poop, mostly dry at night.
The other one...no way....no matter what we tried. Finally, a couple of months ago we finally figured out his "potty motivation" which was the computer. "You can't use the computer if you go pp in your pants." That worked, at more than 3 1/2 years of age he was finally trained.

Now, the first one, who was fully trained for over 6 months has been having repeated accidents almost every day for the last few weeks. One day when I was really frustrated with him, for yet another accident, I said "OK. I AM CALLING MICKEY MOUSE AND TELLING HIM THAT YOU STILL GO PP IN YOUR PANTS!"
You should have heard the crying. "Nooooo, don't call Mickey. Don't call Mickey. Don't call Mickey!" Even his twin started crying b/c I was going to call Mickey Mouse on his brother.

The drama was unexpected and a little funny, and it didn't really help. Lately though, they both know that they are going next week for their 4th birthday trip, so "IF you want to go to Disney World, you have to use the potty." Seems to be working pretty well.

I just can't believe how challenging the whole potty thing turned out to be for my twin boys!

I'm so glad I'm not the only parent who has bribed their child with Disney in order to get them potty trained! :lmao: We are actually taking a short trip next week. When I asked my DD what it would take for her to use the big girl potty she said "I want to go see Mickey mouse and ride Dumbo again!" We figured she would forget. It only took about a week for her to be completely out of diapers/pullups. She then said "I want to go see Mickey now Mommy!" So, here we go again! Not that I'm complaining! :cool1:

I'm doing the exact samething but my little guy got the peepeeing down were just trying for him to hold it through the night and not peepee in his pull up (which he did do this morning). He got his disney dollar. To answer your question Mickey is on the disney dollars (1's, 5's and 10's all different looking)clebrating 80 years.

I've been using inexpensive Disney toys as bribes for each successful trip to the potty. It's been working -- but it gets expensive! I keep telling myself I'm going to get the money back when I don't have to buy diapers and wipes anymore...

The Disney Dollars at our store have Dumbo or Ariel on the $1 (we have 2 sets), Donald on the $5 and Cinderella on the $10. They change often so who knows who will be on the next ones!

LOL I started this way, then switched to Disney STICKERS!! Luckily DD is sticker obsessed right now, so it works. We use stickers as rewards for nearly everything.

Mickey gets a call from me almost every night to tell him DD won't go to sleep! She knows Mickey doesn't let little girls who don't sleep go to WDW! Are we bad parents???? LOLOLOL We leave in 2 weeks...what am I going to do after when Mickey isn't a threat anymore? :confused3

When I bought Disney Dollars for our Easter Egg Hunt this year, they were the one and only Mickey! I live in NJ if that matters, so maybe different places carry different characters. I also only purchased them in dollar increments, so many the 5's and 10's had others.
