Disney Dollar?

Can someone explain to me what the benefits of buying Disney dolalrs? Is there some type of rebate or incentives? If I were staying on-site, I can charge everything on my room key, is there any particular reason why I should be buying Disney dollars? Thanks

Disney Dollars can be used just like cash in WDW. There are no rebates or discounts for using Disney Dollars.

Some people like to buy Disney Dollars at Disney Stores as a way to help save up for the vacation. Some people like to give them to children for their vacation because they look so fun & magical. It could help anyone get in the Disney mood.

DD can be exchanged for cash by the bearer so they are really just like cash.

Thanks so much. I would love to see some type of reward program for Disney to offer to its frequent guests. I thought maybe they changed the way Disney Dollars were used. Maybe the new Disney credit card will offer something down the road. Thanks again.
