DISNEY DOLLAR "new look".....

I was at my local disney store looking for Disney dollars to start putting away for our November trip ( O.K. Just a Little excited!) and the manager said they have some money left, but not a lot. They are expecting a new "character feature" very soon on the money, but Disney has given no clues.

Just wondering if anyone on here has any iodea what the new money design and characture is?


P.S. - BUZZ. The manager said she LOVED the CSR !!!

We went to the DS in Lewisville (TX) tonight...all they had were $1's and said they didn't know when they'd get more in. Of course, everyone we've run into at that store the last few months act like they don't know anything about Disney so who knows.

I am employed at a Disney Store, and it is true that we don't know when we are getting any more Disney Dollars in. Since we were sold by Disney to the Children's Place, we were left in the dark about a lot of things, which explains the confusion. We are actually surprised that we are still carrying things like Disney Dollars, MYW tickets, and Disney media since we are no longer owned by the Walt Disney Company.

The scoop I got from our local DS manager is that they are withholding shipments of DD until the new design comes out. The new design is supposed to be based on the 50th Anniversery Celebration. Our local store is only carrying ones and ,occasionally, fives until then. She said the new DDs would be out in Spring, but wasn't sure of exactly when in Spring....

Chicken Little is a new computer animated movie that is coming out from Disney Studios. From what I have seen it picks up after Chicken Little has already caused a panic from his "the sky is falling" episode and goes from there. It looks okay, not anywhere near Pixar quality, but seems to be on par with Sharktail. If you saw the Mickeys Twice Upon a Christmas, it'll have that look to it.

I went there and they were out, but Frisco had 5's left. Call and ask before you run up there though.
The manager told us there is a shortage as they await the new bills.

This makes me so MAD I could scream, I went to Vista Ridge Mall a couple of days ago to get Disney Dollars and they said they didn't have ANY, I would of taken $1's, if they had 1's last night, they had them on Sunday when I was there.

I went on Feb. 11 , Friday,
and the lady in front of me bought all $63 they had left.

So the shipment must have come in after Sunday. So dont be mad, but try
Frisco they had some Friday I know.

Ever since the Lewisville manager (forgot her name, long brown hair cute and friendly) went to Stonebriar things have not been the same.
I really liked her.

My local disney store only had 1's and 5's and my wife i think got most of them, but she went the the other day, and they had received a shipment of 10's(old style with donald duck on them), so she scooped some up

Ok, I just called The Disney Store in Vista Ridge Mall - they did get in Disney Dollars this week, they have $1's and $5's now.

Darn - I can't get there until I get out of work at 5 - don't all you Lewisville people buy them up before I can get there later - LOL!!!!

I didn't realize that the Disney Store was still going to carry Disney Dollars. The whole buy-out confuses me. Who owns the catalog, online? Do they carry the same stuff. It's good to hear that they still sell them. I have a Disney Store 40 miles from here.
