Disney Divas Getaway!!

Good morning you youngsters you!

If you look up the meaning of 'vacation' you will note that it means doing differently than you would otherwise do. A break from 'real life' as it were. I do not take my laptop either. Talking to real live people without a keyboard is something I look forward to.

Got your list. Am amazed at the consumption level of you folks but I have a large trunk so all should go well.

Only problem is deciding how to get it to you. We are at the same resort and I believe that you are planning on meeting me to watch Spectro so maybe you can just come by my room when we get back to the resort so you will be ready to start partying?

Back to work for me. Only 3 days to go for me! See you soon.

SG (who does not fit on a lanyard and cannot hear at all)

Still working thru the butterflies in my belly as I will not be taking my laptop on this diva adventure so will basically not be available to do any work. I feel like the little engine ... I think I can ... I think I can .... Well, you get the picture.
YOU CAN! :thumbsup2
Better watch out, we may take your cell phone away too! :scared:

Divas, I have you all written down on my agenda. If it is written it usually happens.

On the off chance that it rains out the parade and such Kristin knows my real name and you can just come knocking on "Heaven's Door". My room should be near the main building and one thing for sure you will probably be able to find it just by the window decor. I am obvious ya know. :dance3:

One day to go, lots to do. Tomorrow is my husband's bd so I am taking him out to eat. Then to Lucy's to pack up her stuff for an early start Friday.

Any and all prayers for Friday evening when I wend my way through Atlanta most welcome. Everyone included. Unfamiliar voices are often heard above the crowd. :lmao:

You will definately be in this Diva's thoughts on Friday (wishing I was leaving with you! ) Be careful, take your time...and make sure the rain is gone by the time we get there! :umbrella:

No fear, the alcoholic beverages will be safe as Lucy and I are both teetotalers. However I am not so sure about the chocolate. :lmao:

Hey Divas,
I posted earlier in the thread about my sister, mom, and I going to POP 9/6-9/14 to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. From my post count , you can see that I am more of a lurker than poster. But I wanted to let you know that we are also having lunch at Le Cellier on Tuesday 9/9 (at 1:05pm) followed by "Drinking Around the World" and Illuminations...just like you! :cool1:
Look for the blond woman on an ECV with the "60th Birthday Princess" shirt!

Also, we will be at Ohana's on Thursday 9/11 at 8pm.

Great!
Don't drink too fast, so we can catch up with you!
BTW we are planning to watch Wishes from the Poly beach after dinner @Ohana's on 9/11! :cloud9:

Hoping that it will also. Was at the World yesterday and was drenched from mid thighs down because of outer bands from Gustav... was fun though!

The Divas aren't going to let a little (or a lot! ) of rain stop us...going to $ Store to buy more ponchos...any ideas on how to add some bling to a plastic poncho?!?!?!

Other than clear plastic ponchos that still allow you to show off your hot diva blinged out t-shirts, I got nothing.

My bigger concern is all the rain watering down your drinks as you drink around the world and killing your buzz. I'm thinking I need to grab my margarita and take it on the boat ride in Mexico until it's finished. Hmm, that's a pretty long ride--I'd better take two!

LOL... or drink faster!

I cant think of anything either for the clear ponchos

DH agreed that I should book Bounce Back while I am there next week! :yay:
We are thinking @Columbas Day so DS won't miss as much school :teacher:
Want to do Food & Wine Fest @EPCOT (never done!) :cloud9:
We've never Bounced Back before so any advice would be appreciated! :thanks:

Don't mean to brag but I can't contain my excitement...DH agreed that I should book Bounce Back while I am there next week! :yay:

This next trip will be our first bounce back, so the only advice I have is to know your dates before you go, and book the maximum # of days you think you might want to stay. We changed dates a couple of times while we were down there, and it's easier to drop days off your reservation than to add to it.

The best part about bounce back (aside from having another ticker before you even get home!) is being able to make those ADR's at 180+10 days. No more anxiety about getting that prime Le Cellier spot!

I'm hoping to book bounceback for October next year, too (I would LOVE me some F&WF again), but not sure whether it will work with dd being in middle school. She starts tomorrow, then we leave for 2 1/2 weeks, so we'll see how it goes when we get back in 3 weeks.

I've been trying to figure out how to make it work for us all day...:teacher:
DS started middle school (5th grade this year) was trying to do it with him missing the least # of days but Columbus Day is October 12 next year...DH & I are even toying with the idea of just us and/or another couple going to do Food & Wine! (But I'd feel like the worst Mom if I went to Disney twice in a row w/o my DS! :sad2: )
Need those F&W dates for next year! :headache:

I think the only thing Cait did after she booked was watch for AP rates and got those
