Disney Discovery Club?

When reading about OKW on the DIS resort website, I saw a reference to the Disney Discovery Club for children 6 - 12 or so. Is this the informal pool activities and organized games (like kickball or dodgeball), or is this more like a baby sitting type drop-off service? Are there additional fees? Just curious, as we're planning on a couple of days of just enjoying the resort.

I don't think they offer it at OKW any longer. Our daughter used to do it at Hilton Head and Vero - they keep your child for 3 hours, feed them (pizza usually) and keep them entertained. She used to LOVE it and was bummed when she got too old to participate.
