Disney Discounts Question

Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone knew if they offered a discount (either percent off or the dining plan thing) for the month of October? I know they haven't released that info for this year yet, but I was wondering if they did it in years past. My family is planning on going October 20-27 at the Poly (resort is non-negotiable, as per our 6yo), and we've hit a bit of a financial snag, so anywhere we could save money would be great.

I think October was not included last year in the free dining/discounted option. October is pretty busy.

Your 6 year-old decides where you can stay, regardless of whether you really can afford it? Interesting.

Don't expect a free-dining discount in October. There might be a room-only discount released, but don't expect the less-expensive Poly rooms to be available for it. There is a travel agency that offers clients discounted rooms at deluxe resorts, but they're unnameable on these boards.
