Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

They are pulled! I just looked at what was available to possibly upgrade with the 10% off like an hour ago. And now none of the WDW resorts are available except Swan. :scared1:

Happy to report that they are back but with a price increase.

Yes, I think if you check all months it will show as "No rooms available on the selected dates"

Try not to worry too much at the moment as hopefully it's only temporary issue, we've noticed the same issue on at least 3-occasions over the last 2-months and with fingers crossed and a little prayer the availability and with lower prices will show up again soon and still be around until 3rd March, so keep checking back

Good to know, Samaya! :thumbsup2 Thanks for all your help with this thread! The info has been priceless to consummate WDW trip planners like myself!

Ugh, I'm so upset at myself. I had to different bookings all the way to the checkout screen this morning then decided to wait a bit and work on the dates, then just checked and all Disney rooms are gone. :-(

Just in case you missed our last post at #480....

Oh, please let this be the case! I literally clicked "submit" while on the phone with my credit card company and it disappeared. I thought it was a credit card issue, but alas, it was really gone.

Do you know how long they were gone last time? Back later the same day, next day, next week? I don't want to miss out again! Thanks for all your info on this!

Wheew! Thanks, I'll keep checking back. I want to badly to book this deal. And got scared because it's showing no rooms. Is everyone booking there US flights through expedia.uk as well? I think I might.

I booked 2 nights at the Beach Club for December. Last night I checked to see how much I could save with the 10% code and there were still rooms left at the same price I had booked. I filled out the lowest rate guarantee form this morning asking for a credit. In the meantime I thought I might want to add a night but this morning it showed no availability at BC but did have rooms at Yacht and other hotels. A few minutes ago I got an email from Expedia saying they couldn't add the 10% code to my reservation. I'm not sure why since they have the low price guarantee but I think I'll just stick with what I have and be happy I got such a big discount in the first place. We're only going for 2 nights so the 10% would have saved us a little over $40.

This is an important question for others to take note of.

I used the reservation made through Expedia UK for a stay at WDW last weekend. Everything worked fine EXCEPT that at the last minute I wanted to add one person to the last day. I was told that the reservation could not be changed by Disney AT ALL, meaning that Disney could not add another person. I was allowed to add the extra person as a day guest and he stayed overnight with no problem - BUT he did not get a Magic Band, only a card room key.

For us, it worked out fine because we were not using Fast Passes or any of the other things that Magic Bands do (I don't even really understand the whole Magic Bands thing) - we were there primarily for the Princess half marathon. But under different circumstances, it might have been a problem that he could not have been added as a "real" guest to the reservation.

This won't be a problem for those of us who reserved and used our name although we put the number of guests in the party, will it? For example, when reserving directly with Disney, we must give them all names in the party. On this Expedia UK site, we only give one name and the number of people in our party. It will work out okay that way, won't it?

They're were off-line for a few hours and hopefully there's still a few days to go but it's getting chancy as Expedia could pull these offers before Disney's offer expires on 3rd March so don't leave it too late if they do return. Best of luck

Yes - I made the reservation for three people and I was able (once I finally got the Disney confirmation number) to put that number into the Disney system and name three people.

Since you are naming the people through Disney, I don't think it would be a problem to change which people. But because my reservation was for three people, Disney could not change that and make it for four people.

They are back! (Although at a slightly higher rate, but I will take it!)

I just booked the Contemporary for 8 nights in October for $2,343 compared to WDW site for $3,782. That is almost 40% off. Now I need to find cheap flights. Any ideas for that?

I booked a room for 2 adults, and three children, ages 3, 7, and 17. I'm still waiting to get my confirmation number to link it in MDE. I noticed that in my Expedia itinerary, it shows that I booked for 2 adults, 2 children, and 1 infant, which is slightly worrisome. Has anyone else had this happen? Maybe Expedia classifies a 3 year old as an infant?

Once I link it to MDE, if it lets me assign the guests to people on my Friends and Family list, then I imagine it'll be fine. If not, I suppose I'll have to contact Expedia customer service to see if they can fix it.

Some are back for my dates, but AS-Music is not and I hoped to switch to a family suite.

I just noticed that for my dates as well. Some are back and some are not. Since I don't have my flight tickets yet, I wanted to add a day before and after the contemporary, but ASMu and AoA aren't available. Hopefully they will pop up soon.

That's a shame but it's still almost 40% off so not too bad but keep checking back as they don't seem to have loaded all the rooms so it might need a little time to load, but not sure on that as we not seen this before. Hopefully it's not been pulled early so we'll check again later and also compare prices against Disney's UK web site offers.

And sorry but can't help with US internal flights, we would normally check out Kayak.com/flights.

I really lucked out yesterday. The reservation I made is now £90 more expensive.

I just called and they were able to add another person to the reservation by calling Disney themselves, and Disney did it without charging for an extra person. Just the pixie dust I needed today! pixiedust:

The person who helped said she wasn't able to add the coupon code and that I'd have to use it for my next booking. I may call back later and see if I can talk to someone else who will apply the discount.

Looks like all resorts are being loaded so give it a little while to stabilize and hope there's still some good prices, good luck.

As a comparison we've checked a previous quote which we posted early this morning against the current prices on UK-Expedia for a standard room at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 3-nights from 25th November......

This mornings quote: £342.84 ($572) against a rack rate of $1,353 so saving 57%.

Current quote: £385.71 ($644) against a rack rate of $1,353 so an extra $72 over this morning rate but still saving 53% over Thanksgiving.

With this number and the one I booked yesterday, it looks like everything went up 11%. They may have raised them to offset to coupon code that is taking off 10%.
