Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

Update on the DVC three bedroom units at Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas.

There's only sixty of these DVC units so there can't be many allocated to cash-only bookings, consequently the lowest prices over the Thanksgiving period are now unavailable on UK-Expedia.

But for dates between 24th August through 21st November and 1st to 8th December there's still availability at £287 ($477) per night.

Rack rate varies from $797 to $958 over those dates.

And great to hear back from Ted in Halifax :thumbsup2, hope you can find some more good deals on UK-Expedia.

Has anyone tried paying with their debit card? Disney Visa charges a fee but I work at my bank and they said there is no exchange rate if I use my debit card. So if I pay via paypal with my debit card, would I be charged a fee from pp?

Well, I went ahead and booked using my debit card. CSR from 3/21-3/25. I requested a king bed and if I get that and no extra fee added on for it, I save $334.19 over what WDW spring discount price is for a king bed!! Woo hoo! Thanks OP!!!!

Hey everyone! I ended up adding a room onto my October stay through the uk site! I wanted BC but by the time I was ready to book it was more than I wanted to spend for 1 night. I ended up booking 1 night with a savannah view at akl, and I am still really excited about that. I ended up saving almost $300! Today it finally changed to confirmed but no number, just confirmed # confirmed so I emailed them and now I wait. Very sad, I wanted to link it lol

Has anyone used it for hotels other than Disney on site… How about Orlando OFF site?

Happy to report that, so far, I've received great service from Expedia UK, but you need to be a little patient ;)
I made my initial reservation on Sunday 02/02 (after cancelling the rack-rate one I made directly with WDW), and it took about 2 days for my status to change from "booked" to "confirmed" but without a WDW confirmation #. I then sent an e-mail to ask for the # and I also sent them a PM on Facebook when I didn't get a response after 2 days. Today (02/11), I received the WDW confirmation # twice by e-mail and someone even called (from the UK!) and left a message on my voicemail to make sure I check my e-mails. I was able to link my ressie # in MDE and customize our magic bands :) So far, so good. It only took about 9 days... Be patient folks!

Just updating. Yesterday I emailed them for my Disney confirmation # and I got it in an email this morning, less than 24 hours later. I am all linked now :)

Great to hear back especially on the good customer support and that you're now all sorted; we're sure the 9-days was well worth the wait. Keep an eye out for any US offers and if one comes along which is as good or better then please update this thread especially if you cancel. The more info the better and should help DIS'ers if/when another UK-Expedia offer appears.

Another great result, sorry you couldn't get the Beach Club room but sure you'll enjoy the savannah view's at Animal Kingdom.

I was checking out the UK Expedia and noted that the code mentioned above would not work. I investigated and read that the code states that it is for UK legal residents only. I am looking for 3 nights before a DVC stay and the price for the Caribbean Beach is only 20 dollars more than the discounted AAA price I got from AAA for Pop. I am just a bit nervous about booking. I think it would be a better deal to stay at a moderate than pop but it was about 200 more with AAA discounted room so I ruled it out. Another question if I use pay pal is there any extra international charge? Thanks!

The promo goes on the payment page where it says voucher I believe. I spoke on line with AAA to get the prices for POP.

Please check out carriemd's thread #201 on page 14 who used PayPal and hope you manage to book an upgrade to the Caribbean Beach, not bad for only $20 more than a POP 3-night stay.

Thanks for this. Don't want to post an inappropriate code so I'll delete my post :thumbsup2

I am not a UK resident and I received that code in an e-mail yesterday. I didn't book anything, but when I tried it, it worked for me.

I booked a couple days ago. Should I send them an e-mail to see if I can get the 10% off?

It can't hurt to try...they do have a lowest price guarantee I think. If I recall correctly, someone in this thread posted that they were refunded the difference.

Hi
What is the 10 percent off discount code that is being referred to?

Thanks

It doesn't matter; the terms say it's not valid on Walt Disney World accommodations. I tried it; it didn't work.
