Disney dinner package - fantasmic

I have booked the fantasmic package at the Hollywood & vine, it might sound a silly question but need to check! My son will still meet the disney junior characters won't he? Where will the reserved seating be? What time does the show start? Do we need to pay extra for reserved seating? Will my son like the show? X

The characters are there at breakfast and lunch only. What time is your reservation? And when is your trip? The time for Fantasmic varies with time of year. I've heard that sone kids find parts of it scary, but my kids love it.

We have seen Fantasmic four times and never had the package. We are always there during busy times and never had a problem getting in. So if you can't get a package don't worry you will get in and there really isnt a bad seat.

During your time at Hollywood & Vine, I don't think so. I think I tried looking this up on my last visit and from understanding characters aren't there during the time where the Fantasmic package is offered. This site also seems to back this up.

Where will the reserved seating be?
Reserved seating is usually the center 2 sections I believe, so the best seats in the house.

What time does the show start?
It depends. Sometimes they only have 1 show, sometimes 2. Times are usually from 8pm-10:30pm I believe. Check Disney's Fantasmic page, change the little calendar to when you are going and it'll tel you the time for that date.

Do we need to pay extra for reserved seating?
You get reserved seating with Fantasmic dining. Middle two sections are reserved, but you can't reserve a specific spot in these sections.

Will my son like the show?
It depends on his age. There's a lot of flashes and loud noises and we were in the third row when we did the package. 8yo and 3yo were fine, 1yo cried through about 10 minutes of it. It's amazing though, there is no way I would ever miss it.
