hi I'm wondering if anyone can help. I've booked a package with free dining ect but one of our party might not be able to go. I'm wondering if they don't go can we use the dining credits. I'm just seeing is it best to remove them from the package or keep and use the credits.

I'm not sure if you can or not; but the 'free' dining will cost you the price of their park ticket which would still need to be purchased.

Thank you, we have the package paid up so just seeing is it best to take them off or leave them as we would only get the ticket money less the deposit back. They still might be going we will know for sure in a week or so.

it very much depends on who you booked with

assuming it's disney direct :

if you decide to let that person on the booking, then yes, you can use their dining credits, they're all pooled
but as mentionned, you'll need to pay for their tickets.

if you decide to take that person off (granted they're not the lead guest) you will be refunded their ticket, minus a £50 amendment fee, and you'll lose their dining credits.

whatever you decide, it has to be done at least 14 days before check in. No change is allowed inside the last 14 days.
and you'll need to call if you decide to amend the booking.

if the person not going is the lead guest, then it's a major issue, and you need to contact your reservation office

if you've booked through a TA, they might have cancellation policies, and in that case you might better be off leaving things as they are, and enjoy the extra meals
if you have DDP the hardest thing to do is find additional TS reservations, and the second hardest thing to do ... will be getting on that scale when you come back :)

Just don't tell them. My parents arrived a few days late and because we informed Disney/virgin they didn't get credits for the nights they weren't there even though they paid for them

Thank you all, we have the package all paid up not going until October. The person who might not go isn't the lead guest so no problems with that. We also booked through Disney. We are a party of 8 but 7 if the person doesn't go and only staying onsite for a week so will only be 1 extra TS meal we would need to book if it came to that, if I was to take them off the package we would get a little over €300 back so not a whole lot.
