We just got back from a beach vacation with my current 9 month old and will be going to Disney World for her first trip (definitely not her last) first/second week in December. She did amazing at all of the restaurants we visited and most times we would be there for 2 hours or more. She would just sit in her seat, eat and play with toys. So my question is, and sorry if it is a dumb one. Do all the restaurants, both TS and QS have plenty of high chairs, or should we plan on having our portable chair with us? Sorry for the dumb question but I have never been with a high chair aged child so have never paid attention.

TIA!

Yes, there are plenty of high chairs available! We went for a few days for our son's first birthday and never, ever had an issue.

Don't bother/worry about taking a portable chair. It's just one more thing to pack and carry, and it's definitely not worth it. We did always carry a pack of lysol wipes with us though and did a very quick wipe down (mostly for peace of mind).

We took our son when he was 11 months old and we never encountered any high chair problems. And be sure to make sure of the baby centers in each park - they are wonderful!! You might want a Snuggly or whatever they are called now. It came in handy for holding a wiggly baby on the bus and holding him on our lap on the safari ride so he didn't bump his face on the seat in front of us, etc.

We went when DS was just over 1 and never had an issue getting a high chair!
