Disney Dining Reservations

When can you start to make Disney Dining Reservations? We are going this summer and I am just curious when I can start booking my ADR's?

180 days from the start of your vacation. I *think* (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that if you are staying on property you can actually start at 190 days...but you have to input your confirmation number or something like that.

180 days from when you are making a dining reservation. If you are staying onsite at 180 days from check in, you can make reservations for the first 10 days of your trip.
