We just returned from a wonderful trip to Disney World. We had the Magic Your Way package with the dining plan. We decided we wanted to come back later so upgraded our tickets for more days. My question is that when we book again we'll only need the hotel and dining. We purchase the ticket originally with the meal plan... :confused3 ...just not sure!!! Hate to miss out on the meal plan but couldn't skip out on the ticket savings either!!!

I believe you have to at least purchase a 1 day ticket per person for the dining package!

If you purchase a 1-day ticket and don't use it you can use it whenever or save it to put toward another ticket at a later date. Last year, when they offered the free dining, my friend and I each purchased a 1 day ticket and later put them toward the purchase of our Annual Passes.

Figure that the package builds in the price of that first day of your admission tickets -- that $70 nut. If you use the same pass for two vacations, then you're only paying that nut once, instead of twice, so you're already getting a discount there, and generally you cannot stack discounts too high.
