Disney Dining Plan & Gratuity??

Hello Fellow Disney Fans!

I was wondering if gratuity is included with the Dining Plan? Was it ever included?

Hi - No gratuity is NOT included with the Dining Plan. And, yes way back when (maybe 5 - 7 years ago) gratuity was included. Cheers!

Gratuities were included in the dining plan until 2008.

Currently, gratuities are NOT included except for fixed price events like CRT and dinner shows, the regular price of which include the gratutity. So unless you are booking CRT or a dinner show, you need to figure your own gratuities for table service. If you are a party of six or more, an 18% gratuity will automatically be added to your bill.

We tip 20% of the price for the meal as listed on the bill. The out of pocket cost is always listed, even if you are using dining credits. So for a $200 bill, we would tip $40. More if we got outstanding service, almost never less, but a minimum of 15%.
