How do you use your dining plan with F&W? There look to be so many amazing things to try at F&W! I'm just wondering if having the dining plan will be TOO much food. The last time we had free dining we did breakfast in our room, QS lunch and TS dinners. Maybe this time we would do a QS breakfast, use snacks for lunch for our F&W days and do TS dinners. Is there any advantages or disadvantages to doing TS lunch? I always thought that dinner just seemed like a better value for TS credits.

When we had the dining plan we would use the snack credits at the F&W kiosks for lunch. Then we usually had a TS dinner late in the evening to give us a chance to rest and relax.

If it were me, when the food booth menus come out, I'd decide which ones I want to eat and then make sure I allocate the number of snack credits needed for those. That also would give me an idea of how much other food I'll want/need on those days.

Then, even though it's not a great use of a TS credit, I'd probably do a TS buffet on F&W days. You'll make up the difference with the value you'll get from those F&W snacks. Then if you're still hungry, you could get a QS dinner.

If you still have QS credits left, you could use those on your last days when your snack credits are gone to share a QS meal to tide you over. Some resort QS places will still let you trade QS meals for 2-3 snacks. You can't count on it, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

When I did F&W last year, I was not on the dining plan, but if I had been, would definitely have used snack credits there. That's a no-brainer! But I will say I did not eat any other "meals" that day. We grazed at the kiosks all day long and I was always full and happy. I think at most, you would throw in a QS that same day, unless the booth offerings don't pan out to be your thing.
The bonus of doing that is you can carry over that other TS meal to another day and do a 2 credit signature dinner to use the extra one. YUM!
