Disney Dining Plan 2011

So we don't know prices on the dining plan???

Nothing at Coronado Springs? That has to be a mistake.

And I notice that the new EPCOT restaurants aren't listed. Sigh.

I've never done the DDP before, but I don't think I'd stress yet about restaurants that aren't listed. Among those include Teppan Edo, Raglan Road, Tutto Italia...pretty much everything in DTD.

According to these boards, some of the non-Disney owned restaurants wait until late December to be added so that they can negotiate the best possible deal. So, for now, I'm not going to worry about it.

I notice some of the restaurants are missing from this list (ie Teppan Edo, San Angel Inn, Yak & Yeti). Does anyone know if this was a mistake or a change?

Oops - I must have been typing -- I see this was just answered....Thanks!

So it looks like they are not removing desserts right? I don't know if the price will go up but I don't see any change to dining plan right?

well they definitely did change it...no double beverages at breakfast anymore. Used to be Juice-entree-and a non-alcohol beverage. Now it just says entree & non-alcohol beverage for both quick service breakfast and for table service breafast. So no more getting an extra bottled drink to take with you to the park.

Am I understanding this correctly?

All table service at Downtown Disney will be gone from the Dining Plan? :confused3

Doubt it...the thing is almost all of the DTD restaurants are NOT Disney owned, so they negotiate a new contract every year with Disney. These contracts are typically not all finalized until December. There's also a number of Epcot restaurants that are also not Disney-owned. These will be missing also (like Tutto Italia, the new Via Napoli, and several others.) EVERY year there are 2 versions of the Dining Plan brochure...the one that's released in August with only the Disney-owned restaurants. And a 2nd one that will be dated late December or early January...which will list all the contract restaurants too.

Thank you so much for the info, I had no idea. :thumbsup2

We need our Planet Hollywood fix. :rotfl:

I see that Coronado hasn't listed any of their restaurants. Perhaps they are leaving it til later in the year. It doesn't really matter to me (highly unlikely I'll board another 21hr flight to Orlando!) but as long as they keep offering it on the DDP til the end of the year i'll be good, although I probably won't eat at the resort much anyway.

Coronado Springs is run by a third party operator, so it will likely be added at a later date.
